Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

Would you mind clarifying: when you say on a per agent basis, do you mean per listing agent or per agent running the open home?

Export Data - Label - Names format
- example - Mr & Mrs J Smith instead of Mr J Smith and Mrs K Smith

Needs a prompt if leaving a page without without saving
When we (for example) load documents, if we leave the page without hitting save - the system does not alert that there are unsaved changes, even though the documents look like they have been uploaded as they appear in the document list.
Can this be looked at as a matter of priority please as this can cause delays on processing contracts etc.

STOCKLIST - Additional information required
Would like to see the following info added to the listing reports:-
Building name so that the reports can be printed in building order
Building managers details
Internal and external size of property
Bodycorporate and rates
Rent and potential rent
We presently prepare a listing sheet manually on a spreadsheet with these details that the agents take to open inspections. Would be a great help to have this info ready to print without the need for manual entry.9 votes -
STOCKLIST - Internal Stocklist should have all phone numbers/emails
Internal stock list should show all contact numbers and emails for the vendor.

VENDOR REPORT - Should be able to duplicate and edit like brochures
It would be ideal to have the opportunity to recreate the vendor report in the same way you can duplicate and edit brochures. It gives every agency the opportunity to create the report to their own requirements.

STOCKLIST - Better sorting capabilities
I note that others have suggested that stocklists need to be sorted in a way that makes it easier for customers to find what they are looking for.
Example
Most agencies have rental stocklists for people to collect and take with them.
Our stocklists are still created manually because of the inability to sort easily. They are sorted in the following way
Available Now
Post Code (locally known areas - Northside or Southside or Gracemere)
Then by price in category of
House
Units ETC
Other - Farms or acreageComing Soon

Set dates in tracks rather than number of intervals.
Specific times are important when dealing with personal situations in tracks.

Locking Marketing Credits to a user
To avoid agents using marketing credits to send SMS it would be ideal to have the marketing credits locked to a user so that they cannot be accessed by everyone.

Flag the training videos after watching
Flag the training videos after watching to show that they the user has been thru the training. When a user goes back to the training videos they have no idea of what they have watched and what they haven't.

Match Profiles - Ability to pick an office location
When setting up a match profile for business's that have multiple office locations it would be handy to simply check a box for any listings meeting their criteria from a particular office location to be sent to them rather then having to select all the suburbs within that town/city.

Being able to add additional contacts to merge fields ie Letters and Emails etc
Example:
I have entered in the contacts separately and linked them (as you at REX designed it) as: Contact 1 - Jarod Joseph and Contact 2 - Holly Joseph
I don’t want them linked as Contact 1 - Jarod Joseph & Holly JosephI understand that is the only way at the moment to do a merge – and is what we are having to do at the moment – however once you do this, it voids the rest of the contact card ie:
- The social tab for Facebook and linked in (as it wont search for the multiple names…

Printer icon for receipts
It would be awesome to have a printer icon when viewing a receipt, which would save alot of time withouht having to generate, download then select print. A shortcut for these steps would be great!

List of Ledgers (deposits currently held in trust) under the Trust Tab
For Agencies that have the trust account function in Rex, one feature that I really miss from our previous system is being able to automatically see a list of all the properties / ledgers that we are currently holding funds for in trust.
No different than how the dashboard shows all of the current listings for the agency, the Trust Account section / tab should show a list of the current deposits held against each property - on the screen (not having to create a report or trail balance ledger within a specified date range).
Would be a very useful…

Linking surburbs in the match profile into areas
I'm sure in other areas of NZ it must be just as much time wasting as it is in Christchurch to list all the suburbs each time you set up a match for properties. Could there be a way of making our own areas or REX could set them up, for example, East and West of Christchurch as some people don't want to live on the East due to Earthquake damage or some people not caring where they live in the city, it is a lot of suburbs to list each time you are setting up a match. Apply Multiple "Primary" email addresses (and SMSs) to a contact
Currently, we add clients up to 3 times where they have multiple email addresses that receive our email alerts. It would be great to have the ability to enter several emails/mobile numbers under the one contact and know that all emails/mobiles will receive alerts.

Ability to complete mass reminders or notes on selected records
Currently if you are placing reminders for follow up calls or visits you have to enter every one singularly even if they are in a group.
Would be great if you can place mass reminders or stream feeds to save time.
