Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Section in Documents to upload Disclosure Statement

    Need to have a section in Rex that we can upload the Seller Disclosure document/Public document and then feed that through to portals.

    Need to organise it so that the web developer can update the XML feed to the website.

    At the moment, we use public documents that are sent out with an auto-response through REA. But, these do not need to all be available on our websites, it will just be the one document that we would like to create a link/download button for.

    Similar to the marketing links, but for documents, pdf etc.

  2. Allow users to complete reminder when reminder is assigned to their user group

    We can assign reminders to a User Group which is great for sales teams BUT no one in that User Group can complete the reminder UNLESS their permissions can complete any reminder assigned to anyone in the office.

    So we weigh up sticking with individual reminders OR changing agent permissions to update any reminder in the office.

  3. default defer options

    Change default reminder defer options.
    Currently the options are:
    Next Buisness Day
    Tomorrow
    Later this week
    This weekend
    Next weekend
    Custom

    I would suggest a change to:
    Tomorrow
    2 days
    1 week
    2 week
    3 weeks
    4 weeks
    Custom

    As well as removing the options for this/next weekend as they seem a bit pointless.

    It is time consuming to set a custom date, this small change would be so beneficial to our team.

  5. lead emails

    We have a centralised admin centre that deals with incoming leads, so we want to allocate an admin user as 'agent 2' and have them receive the lead email as well as 'agent 1'. We can't put the admin as 'agent 1' as otherwise it would cause an issue with the website feed. Please can you make it possible for the lead emails to be sent to both 'agent 1' and 'agent 2'

  6. Zapier - more triggers and actions

    With AI Agents becoming more useful in Zapier, it would be great to have more REX Triggers and Actions available to use in Zapier as the possibilities would expand exponentially.

    Eg. Action: Update existing contact - this would allow us to clean our REX contact database using AI
    Action: Change Property Owner Status - eg. Current Owner to Past Owner

  7. Listing stocklist for agency sales listing booklets

    We create A5 agency booklets of our available listings via the Reporting, Listing Stocklist, Public Lists option. The formatting option for how many listings per page is 2-6 listings. This allows for very minimal property information to pull through, the photos are quite small as to is the agent contact details.

    It would be good if there was a 1 listing per page option.

  8. Owner’s Name on Appraisal List

    When searching properties >> all appraisals, it would be helpful to have the option to display the homeowner’s name on that main screen, rather than needing to click into each individual property. It would also be great to have a quick option to add a note directly to the contact (rather than just to the property), to make updating information more efficient.

  10. Option to automatically select or deselect "approve for reporting" agency wide

    Currently it is automatically ticked for feedback entries but as a prompt for agents to follow up feedback we thought it could be helpful to have it deselected so that it appears in the feedback Stream on the dashboard. Looking into vendor reporting with Rex Home and this could help ensure they have their notes finalised before ticking the button to update the vendors.

  11. Automatically expand related contacts on mouse hover

    Related contacts can currently only show 3 people unless expanded. As it has become very common to have at least 4 people linked to a listing, it can be awkward if you are making phone calls to click on the "view more" drop down every time you open a listing.

    If the related contacts panel simply expanded on mouse hover to show all people involved it would be much more time efficient.

  12. Dark mode!

    Like many of us, I am using the Pocket app and the Rex CRM until late in the night...

    Please can we have a dark mode that adjusts alongside system settings for your device?

    Most of the time I am flicking between emails, calendars, WhatsApp etc and then BAM Pocket is bright white.

    Include "Past Employee" and "Past Employer" in Related Contact drop down so they are automatically changeable similar to current Employee/Employer or Parent /Child. Useful to keep track of contacts particularly in the commercial space.

  15. Link/Connect Listed Properties in Portfolio

    Suggesting a way to link properties together, so that when the user is discussing their interest in a specific property we can suggest another at the same time of the call. Common scenario:

    • Prospect wants to view 123 Fake Street in Essex, this address is a bungalow property, with a garage and 3 bedrooms.

    • Agent has a listing very similar in nature, within a short walk or drive from the property they enquired about initially.

    • Agent can suggest similar property to prospect at the time of the call and complete two viewings in rapid succession.

  16. Change (or New) Default Contact Entry Format

    Would be great if there was a function which acted like a questionnaire / form for a brand new incoming call, which you can process with the caller on the line. For example a list of fields which apply to a buyer or buyer/seller, expanded on the basic salutation, name, tel, email and address e.g. callers buying status and available budget.

  18. scheduling an SMS or email to be sent at a specific time

    Enable ability to send someone an SMS early in the morning or late at night from Rex but have it go at a reasonable hour or when that client is more likely to see it i.e 7pm weeknight.

  19. Attach a form/PDF to a Track task

    It would be good to have a document attached to a stage/task of a track.

    For example, the Track task is - Complete document XYZ - The staff can click and download the attached document from that task and complete it.

    Currently, the way we manage this is by having a task state 'complete document XYZ' - staff then need to navigate to the shared folder, duplicate the document, and complete it.

    The documents could be saved under the Rex agency profile, similar to saved photos for email merge templates.

    This would mean a new blank document is downloaded each…
