Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Buyer Match - Radius from CBD

    It would be great to have an option to add a radius of suburbs from Brisbane CBD. For example a buyer is looking anything 10km from Brisbane CBD you can select that and it would include all postcodes in the 10km area around the CBD

  3. Ad Text Merge Tag For Email Templates

    It would be great to have a few extra merge tags added for listings templates.

    The ability to add the Default/Long/Short Ad text as a merge tag in email templates would be of great benefit.

    This way, we can send the Ad text in an email so that whoever wants to get a change done they can email the current text (With Changes) and it is recorded on their file for all the ad iterations.

  4. Unsubscribers Report

    The ability to produce some form of report/CSV export for those who have unsubscribed from a particular list.

    Its great it automatically unsubscribes but it'd be handy to know who has unsubscribed.

  5. REPORTING:

    We suggest the following reports be created instead of having to export to a CSV file and remove columns you don't need and there is a lot of messing around to print off a simple list.

    • Feedback list for a property which includes the Name, Phone, Email and Address, Notes/Comments and whether they are HOT, WARM or COLD.

    • A report for Past Vendors and Purchasers which includes: The Vendor or Purchasers details, the property they purchased, the date they purchased and their contact details. (Separate reports)

    • The ability to print out a customised list. i.e. a mailing list with contact…

  7. Remove building name from Rental Reports

    Can you please remove the building name for Rentals. When you do a listing report for Rentals it is pulling up the building name, which is taking up a lot of space and is not worth having there

  8. Pocket Agenda Update

    1. Show the clients email address

    2. Show the last note left against the client/property

    This will help improve the speed in which the sales agents can complete their calls.

  9. Predictive analysis & geospatial mapping = Stronger sales leads

    Analyse and link contact behaviour (ie click on links, opening of emails) to:
    a) their physical location
    b) their home or business address
    c) the address of what they're clicking on;

    On a map, so you can visualise and predict their interest

    For example...
    if they're clicking around their home, they're likely interested in selling.
    If they're clicking around their home, and in another location, they're likely interested in both selling and buying
    If they're clicking in another area, they're likely interested in buying.

    Then providing the analysis results as high priority contacts in a visual way that allows agents…

  10. Tick box for Vendor Resides at property listed

    Tick box for Vendor Resides at property listed
    If the owner lives in the property for sale, we could tick this box instead of writing out the address again.

  11. Add more information to listing

    For example vendor name & contact information, legal details, solicitors, rates, GV which is in the core part of the REX listing.

  12. Add individual Solicitors

    It would be great it you could add individual solicitors to the firm as well. Solicitors company first and then individual acting for the Vendors, so you have both the firm and the individual on the listing and merging through to REINZ

  13. GST exclusive

    I need it to be able to show the price as GST Ex when entering the VPA but then in the total, to have a GST amount, then a total include the GST amount.

  14. Days on Market

    The current Days on Market in REX reports calculates from the day the listing is entered into REX, as opposed to the number of days since it is "published" which is when it's actually hitting the market. Be great if the reporting could be updated to pull from the "Published Date" so that the reports were then accurate.

  15. Ability to Print Commission By Agent Report with seperate page per agent

    Currently there is a fantastic report already available under Reporting / Commission / Commission By Agent however to generate individual reports, you have to go through each agent one by one. If this great report just had the ability to "Print One page Per Agent" then this one report would do the trick and be awesome!

  16. We don't want users completing certain reminders assigned to them

    At the moment a user can complete any reminder that is assigned to them. In most cases this is fine, but in some instances it would be better if they couldn't. An example would be contract dates - at the moment a user can mark a contract as unconditional or settled when we would prefer an admin user to do this. It would be good to have an option for reminders that are assigned to a user, but can't be updated by them.

  17. Entering Enquiries/Leads - How do you tell the difference between a rental & sale listing?

    Does your office have a receptionist that takes client and customer enquiries?

    Did you know... if you have a landlord that would like to try and sell his investment while it is vacant, but is also looking for a tenant at the same time, there is currently no way that you can tell the difference between the two listings in REX when entering a new enquiry / lead.

    A simple fix would be to put 'Residential Sale' or 'Residential Rental' showing beside the listing when searching for the property address in the Leads section.

  18. Commercial Listings - Floor Area Range

    When there are multiple Floor Area options available - either in a building or warehouse, it'd be great to have the option to input a range for Floor Area.

    Realcommercial allow this as an option, as it is quite common with commercial listings.

    Could Rex add in a range field that can be sent for commercial listings?

  19. Auto fill Contact name when searched & they are not there

    Just like when you are adding related contact or Property - you type in the name or Address and if they aren't there you can Add and it auto fills with what you have already typed there to search for... Add this same feature to the main search bar because now when you type in a name, its not there, you add it, you then need to write out that name again... I have older salespeople so the less typing for them the more they will actually use the system. Thanks!

  20. Icons for study and pool in brochures

    It would be nice to have icons for study and pool
    Ie. Some properties are 3 bed plus study
