Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.
Remember – no request is too small :)

ability to add a track from the contacts/properties/listings pop out box
It would be great to be able to add a track without having to necessarily click in to the associated file and have the ability to do it from the pop out box.
The fact that you can currently send an email, add note, add reminder, or add email suggest that it shouldn't be to hard to add this feature

Totals on Marketing Schedules
could we add the function of having a total on the bottom of the marketing schedules when its not grouped by anything. At the moment the only way I seem to be able to generate a schedule with a total spend is to generate it grouped by “Invoiced/Uninvoiced” before you start invoicing (Once you start invoicing it generates a total for Invoiced and a total for uninvoiced) which isn’t what I’m after.

Incorporate a Property Management System via REX
The trust accounting software is in place, the invoicing is in place, the tracks & reminders are in place, and the rest of REX is functional. The only aspect that REX has yet to offer is the ability to manage properties via their software & from a functionality perspective, it appears as if it may simply require a tweek of some coding and the function may become available.

Tick boxes
Tick box list for the property features rather then adding one at a time then it going back to the top of the list each time... Some people do not like typing each feature each time. It's alot easier if you could go alphabetically and tick which ones you want to add.

OFI LIST - Order alphabetically by suburb
OFI lists are best created in alphabetical order by suburb. Our receptionists find it difficult to have people holding on a call to filter through 2-3 pages of property addresses to advise the open times. Having the OFI report in alphabetical order by suburb would assist our administration staff greatly in being able to answer questions quickly and efficiently. The current reports work great for sales staff but not as practical for other situations, for the above reasons.

Alway's blind copy (BCC) email
Would like the option to be able to 'Always Blindcopy (BCC) yourself' when sending an email from REX.

Report for Settled In Period
We would like a report in the Franchise Centre that will show every listing that has been marked with settled within a time period.

Add functionality for adding an appraisal source
An extra drop down box for the appraisal source when entering an appraisal so the office can track where the appraisals are coming from.
Is very handy for offices that pay for marketing and need to be able to track the effectiveness of their campaigns.

It hasn’t been approved for development just yet (they’re still brainstorming ways it could be implemented) but we’re all very hopeful it will become a fully-fledged Rex feature in the future. AUTOMATED EMAIL TRAIL:
You have a new client.
Perhaps they're a buyer for one of your new listings.
So Rex has a box where you've got numerous email trails set up and you tick the correct one for this particular property allowing you to automate your communications with the buyer to some extent.
There'd be a first email that perhaps thanks that person for registering and provides an extra detail about the property that's not been revealed to the public yet.
Email 2 might be a snapshot of the queue waiting to get in at your first open house.

Default Font for Templates and Merges
We would love to see a set and forget type option where you set up a default font for merges across the entire account. This would stop a lot of different font types in emails and letters.

Ability to add custom unsubscribe reasons
It would be good to be able to customise the list of unsubscribe reasons so that we can add in reasons that are more specific to our company, currently the list is quite limited.

Property Type Default
Recommend an agency nominate at setup up if residential or commercial or both. If residential when adding a property the default would be residential, saving ket strokes on set up

Ability to add image to letter
It would be great to have the ability to add an image directly to a letter merge template rather than having to create a template as an email, copy the template and pasting into the letter template.

Newsletter info in contacts stream
I would like to be able to go into the Contact screen, and pull a report on which newsletters the contact has been sent, how many times they opened, and how many clicks. The same as what you can see when you go into the Newsletter for all contacts, but the other way around, you go into the Contacts, and see all newsletters. Would be a good tool to easily determine how often the contact looks at the newsletters and how active they are.

Activity Reports
Could the vendors email address and price be put on these as it would save time looking them up and price is a moving target so it confirms where price is at.

Separate fields for 'address' on a contact
It would be awesome if the address field could be divided into separate fields.
Similar to how the property address details are divided up: Unit number, street number, street address, suburb, postcode & state.

Notify task assigner of task completion
When assigning a task to a Rex user, it would be great to have the option to notify the assigner when it is marked as complete.
It would be great to have this sent as a single email at the end of each day (rather than an individual email for each one) or some sort of a drop-down stream.

Ability to reverse 'locked' status against contracts
Allow users with a specific privilege to reverse a 'locked' status against a contract.
Sometimes mistakes happen! It would be great if we could reverse these if absolutely required.

Mass Action to change due date of reminders
Creating a feature that allows the change of the due date for reminders in a set of records to be updated in bulk.

Stream - User can see correspondence sent to record even with no privileges to the record
If a user has no rights to view a record, they can see email/letter/SMS in the records stream.
This should be hidden if you have no access to the record.12 votes
