Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Property Settlement Date

    Settlement dates to be automatically updated as an event on the Calendar once processed in the property contract and or edited to a different date through the process!

  3. Automatically include Payments as 'Included in Bank Upload'

    Would love to have a back end setting to automatically include Payments onto the bank upload. We upload all payments as an aba and never do it manually (as to avoid double handling) and it would make it much safer to ensure that all payments are automatically included in that list.

  4. Allow Multiple Agents to be Linked to Open Homes

    Current functionality only allows one agent to be linked to an open home. It would be great to have two agents linked to the open home as there can often be two agents on a listing.

    The reason that this is important is when using the Rex calendars it only adds the appointment for the open home into one agents calendar. If two agents need to be attending the open home, there is no option to invite another agent. The only way to do this would be to manually add the appointment into the other agents calendar.

  5. That the same merge tag fields be available across both Listings and Contacts

    Can you please add the merge fields currently available under listings to contacts as well. We generated a great SMS template under listings which includes: listing address, auction date, time and venue, live auction link and agent name. However, more often than not, we are sending these to a bulk list of contacts, rather than one at a time, and need to send this from contacts. As these fields aren't available under contacts, we currently have to generate a manual SMS for each listing.

  6. Printer icon for receipts

    It would be awesome to have a printer icon when viewing a receipt, which would save alot of time withouht having to generate, download then select print. A shortcut for these steps would be great!

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Would you mind clarifying: when you say on a per agent basis, do you mean per listing agent or per agent running the open home?

  8. Ability to print off sent emails

    I am still required to print off some sent emails for the manual file - would like to do this straight from rex rather than cc myself into email and printing from outlook.

  9. Trust Account Deposit Receipts

    If possible, could we have the address of the purchaser showing with the received from section on the Deposit Receipt.
    This would be handy when mailing out the receipts.

  10. STOCKLIST - Sort by Auction Time

    It would be great to be able to sort Auction Stocklists by Auction Date, this will help identify upcoming Auctions.

  11. Limitations when emailing all contacts linked to feedback for a listing

    When we want to send an email to all contacts linked to feedback we can use a template but we are unable to:
    1. have these emails show on the stream for the property listing record, which would be good to see when you would like get an overall picture of all correspondence relating to the listing
    2. attach a brochure as an attachment (which is the case for all emails unless you email it from when you've generated the brochure)

  12. Upcoming OFIs in Newsletter

    All upcoming open homes should be listed under a listing on the newsletter, not added by date order as you may have an open on the Saturday & Sunday so the property comes up twice with one open for Saturday and then further down again for Sunday (would be better to have all opens included per listing).

  13. Ability to add custom unsubscribe reasons

    It would be good to be able to customise the list of unsubscribe reasons so that we can add in reasons that are more specific to our company, currently the list is quite limited.

  14. Tick boxes

    Tick box list for the property features rather then adding one at a time then it going back to the top of the list each time... Some people do not like typing each feature each time. It's alot easier if you could go alphabetically and tick which ones you want to add.

  15. Sales Advice "deposit" breakdown to allow for initial deposit date paid/due & full deposit date paid/due

    Since buyers can pay their deposits in various ways & at different times i.e. an initial 0.25% deposit on a particular date with the balance due on another date OR no initial deposit but a full deposit due on a particular date, it would be clearer if we can note a breakdown of when they paid each amount &/or when it's due rather than only 1 "deposit date" under Selling details on the Sales Advice as this isn't clear as to whether it's actually been paid or if it's DUE to be paid. Buyers may not always pay a deposit…

  16. VENDOR REPORT - Marketing and promotional activities should be included in the report

    I would like my vendors to be able to see on the Vendor Report where and when their property has been advertised eg. newspapers, websites, letterbox drops, email newsletter, Facebook etc..

    For instance, the date it appeared in the newspaper, which newspaper it was in and the size of the ad.

    For websites, which portals it was on, whether it was a standard or feature listing and if featured when that expires.

    For Facebook, when it was posted, and if it was a paid/ boosted Facebook ad the details of that.

    When it appeared in our newsletter.

  17. Stop Calendar allowing conficting appointment times

    Currently there is nothing to stop anyone from organising a conflicting appointments in a calendar. For instance if you have made a vendor appointment for 12 oclock on Saturday on your calendar, an office administrator can still book you in to show a property AT THE SAME TIME, which is obviously going to cause some problems. (see attached example of one that occurred in our office) It would be good if you could add a feature that gave you a warning when you try to make a conflicting appointment, as happens with other calendars like outlook. Then you can decide…

  18. Add option to apply a cash / % discount to an invoice

    Please add an option in the VPA Invoice section to apply a discount to the final campaign amount due -- like how the agent deductions work in commission worksheet 2.

    We offer a % discount to vendors that pay their campaign account upfront and would be great to just apply that discount to the total cost (also outlining what they're saving by paying upfront) rather than creating all our Advert Pack campaigns again with that % discount applied.

    When we campaign prices, we would then have to update double the amount of packages due to the different module costs within…

  19. Booking Advertisments

    When I list a property, I insert all the marketing that we do and add in the booking dates - sign, internet, title search etc all on one date then tick as booked as they are completed then each of the newspaper ads for their campaign i put in for those Saturdays we want them to be booked on. I generate the To be booked report for each Saturday every week which shows me all the listings due to have an ad for the weekend.   20. When deposit is received it should automatically update in the contract details
