Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Show 'Publish Date' on Key Details tab (not the list date, but when it was posted Live)

    Show the 'Publish Date' on the Key Details tab in a listing so that we can determine when it was actually visible to the public, rather than when the listing agreement commenced (Date Listed). This helps us to establish when advertising timeframes would expire.

  2. Add option to select type of method used for follow-up feedback

    When adding follow-up feedback there should be a drop-down box with the method used to contact the client (e.g. phone call, email, etc.) so it can be added to the vendor report.

    For example, if I call 5 OFI attendees and add their feedback, I would like those 5 calls to be added to the tally in the 'agent activity' section of the vendor report. At the moment these calls are not tallying up so it appears to a vendor that we are not making many calls relating to the property.

  3. e-brochure link to say SOLD

    Be able to generate an e-brochure link that mentions SOLD and the sold price.

    This would be a wonderful tool to email to people after a property has sold.

  4. Property listing status: Off Market

    Can you please add a property status of "Off Market". Off market sales are becoming more common in the industry and we need a way to differentiate these listings on our website (i.e. not include them in currently For Sale listings). Note that Off Market listings are the same as For Sale, just a different flag or status. They are not withdrawn - they are for sale. Most other software has it under the Status property, along with For Sale, Withdrawn, Sold, etc.

  5. Sending Brochures to 'Reverse Match' Contacts

    It think it would be really helpful to be able to have the brochures (not the link) sent in an email to contacts who are selected in a "Reverse Match" situation for a listing.
    We can then use this when we just list a property and send it to our database, if there is a new price change or if the property goes from one sale method to another (private treaty to auction for example).

    I'd like to see an option in the "template" that says something along the lines of "Property Brochure" or whatever, so when it is chosen…

  6. Would love to be able to "live chat" the helpdesk

    To have help "at the ready" when I have a question (currently cannot find a phone number for the helpdesk and emails take too long).

  7. Individualised tracks, sms and email templates

    My work flow involves sending many emails and sms's from my crm. I would like to see the ability for each agent to add templates for their own use (not system wide which would confuse others). I have personalised emails, sms and tracks which I set up and therefore don't have to copy and paste from elsewhere, the ability to add form fields to auto-populate certain information is a real time saver.

  8. Sold - option to change postal address on purchaser contact

    when changing listing to sold and it asks to update the property record / owner with the purchaser information. another box to ask do you want to change the postal address of the purchaser?

  9. Automatic Tracks after marking a property as unconditional/sold/settled

    Have automatic tracks that are triggered when a contract is marked as unconditional and sold/settled. This would allow reminders to be set up for final inspection, deposit refunds and client gifts

  10. OFI List - Filter Agent Option

    When generating an OFI List Report, it would be great to be able to filter specific agents only and not every agent in the office.

  14. OAB's - a report that calculates the number of days on the market to use for target marketing purposes.

    I currently use the days OABs have been on the market to send out different marketing material (dependent on how long they have been on the market)
    I use an excel formula/spreadsheet to do this....it would be great if you could incorporate this into a report, so you don't have to export and then work out the dates.

  15. List of merge fields

    The template system in Rex is brilliant. Its all about efficiencies.
    However when I create a template, when selecting a merge field, it's usually a guess as to which field to select. Sometimes logic prevails sometimes not. There is such a huge number of options. Scrolling through, looking for what it might be is a bit of a mission on its own.
    It would be very helpful if there was a published list of the field names and their definition.
    Or better still, if the field name pops up when hover over it. I'm meaning in the front end where…

  16. Pocket, check in enquiries/private inspections

    Can we look at a feature of adding a property enquiry in Pocket? That way they recieve an ebrochure and we can add the enquiry to our report and they appear in list of contacts

  17. Contact entering

    There seems to be a lot of double clicking, double handling and back and forth when adding a new contact making it a time consuming and costly exercise.
    One single pop up screen when entering new contact/lead giving the
    Ability to add ALL owners on one page (pop-up), including, resi and postal address, address of property if investment would help speed up the process plus the ability to add a "track' without then having to select a "target" property.   18. Reminder

    In the reminders when your setting a reminder, it allows you to choose its priority as default, low or Hot.

    When HOT is selected on the day that that reminder pops up on the dashboard, i feel it should pop up at the top of the reminders list. At the moment it doesnt pop up at the top its just flagged as HOT...

    I like to flag them as its a reminder to follow them up FIRST, but would be helpful if it was at the top of the dashboard list.

    Many commercial enquiries come from an individual but are on behalf of their company, there is no way to link them together at present

  20. Invoices to companies

    We need to include company billing details on invoices we send to our developers. Currently I enter them in the street address field and add the street address this. Then we need to edit the invoice as it doesn't load correctly. Maybe there could be different invoicing for the Projects module or maybe tab you tick to include correct billing details.
