Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Change Log for Finance/ VPA Tab / Invoices payments Tab

    Have a changes log that is under the Finance tab / or added to the current changes log.
    That records changes done under the Finance section , this would include the VPA tab , invoices and payments Tab and the commission Tab.
    It would provide information such as what user added the VPA item , who invoiced it , who voided and or edited

  2. View Selected Records Option

    When making a selection of properties from a list it would be useful to be able to view just the selected records. Additional info or notes can then be added by scrolling through the selected records.

  3. Customisable reasons for Archived Appraisals

    Requesting the ability to create your own archive reasons for appraisals. This way, agencies can create archive reasons to suit their needs.

  4. When deposit is received it should automatically update in the contract details

    It would be great if when a deposit is received for a property that the details are automatically updated in the contract details

  5. The difference between a property page and listing page should be more visibly different ( different page colour maybe ? )

    I would like the property page and the listing page to be visibly different from one another . In administration when working with both and jumping from one to the other it would save time . I am constantly interrupted by calls, walk ins, staff etc so if the listing page was for example YELLOW then I would not have to recheck where i was at . Both pages look the same at a glance and a small house or sign icon just isn't enough .

  6. Create a Lease expiry field linked to a contact and property

    Have the ability to add a lease expiry date to a contact, which is then linked to a property.
    The purpose is to contact a tenant and a vendor in advance of the expiry date to see if any assistance is required.
    Being able to filter the 'forthcoming' expiry dates gives the agent a list to follow-up for say 6 months from expiry from that particular month.

  7. Track Listings - ability to print off the tracks

    A feature that allows you to print off the track listing so that you can discuss and then duplicate to create your own that allows it to be suited to your requirements.

    It is too time consuming to print screen etc and printing directly from the site cuts off most information

  8. Event times in Newsletters

    When adding an Event Block to a Newsletter, the system currently displays all events in Rex. It would be good it this only showed future events (rather than seeing events from months prior).

  9. Photo

    When adding a Listing Block into a newsletter and selecting the Listings to appear within it, could we please have the Listing Main Photo appear when a Listing is scrolled over? It would make it easier to determine which Listings are to be included when dealing with a lot of apartments that are numbered similarly. Thank you.

  11. Key Details / Attributes - House Design - REX Projects

    Now that REX has fantastic new functionality via REX Projects for 'off the plan' project sales I think that "House Design" is an important:
    "Key Details Property Attribute".

    House design type is a vital part of the 'off the plan' sales process

  12. Lead Dropbox - Auto Parsing / Processing (Specific Permissions Set)

    We and many offices use permission settings whereby agents can only see their owned contact records and duplicates are created.

    It would be great if Auto-parsing with Leads Dropbox would add a contact record only if it is owned by the agent.

    Secondly, see picture attached, there should be info available in grey next to name when reviewing what contact record you need to select including:
    -agent that owns record.

    Thirdly, in the event that you need to manually create a record, I agree with this:

    There should be a way to auto-fill Name/Email/Phone or be able to see/copy…

  13. Buyers Attached to Mailing Lists Reporting

    Would love Rex to be able generate a report on how many buyers have been attached to mailing lists with a date range Including which user attached the mailing list to the contact. This will then show how buyer increase in what amount of time to our database and also tracking agent accountability for buyers.

  14. Generate a report of a contacts entire stream

    Often in Property Management I want to generate a report of every stream entry to give to a landlord who has been away for a time or wants a reference point of Management tasks completed... It would be very helpful for any type of contact (Contractors, Solicitors, Landlords, Tenants...)

  15. Current Listings (DOM) Report - Add Price

    We are having to print 2 lists when reviewing reps stock. The report for Current Listings (DOM) is good except missing the current list price - if this was added we could solely go off this list, and not have to crosscheck between another stocklist.

  16. Adding Building Details to building record that will automatically populate when adding new property - Pool, amenities, etc

    Include the ability to add building details to a Building record. Then, when you create a property from this record, it will give you the option to automatically populate these fields.

    For example, adding a pool and gym facilities to a building and having them auto fill when creating a linked property.

  18. VENDOR REPORT - Serious interest from buyers on report

    In feedback report I would like to be able to identify clearly those that are interested to those who are not. So we can just click a button so they are at the top of the inspection until such time as they are no longer interested

  19. Change Listing Type

    Currently, if you add a listing type as something like "Rural" but then later you wanted to change it to "Land" (some rural land could fall into both categories) there is no way to change the Type once it has been listed. You have to duplicate it, change the type and then remove one of them. It would be good if this field was able to be edited. It would save a lot of time.

  20. Booking Advertisments

    When I list a property, I insert all the marketing that we do and add in the booking dates - sign, internet, title search etc all on one date then tick as booked as they are completed then each of the newspaper ads for their campaign i put in for those Saturdays we want them to be booked on. I generate the To be booked report for each Saturday every week which shows me all the listings due to have an ad for the weekend. I really want to be able to generate this same list the report does and…
