Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

Add option to apply a cash / % discount to an invoice
Please add an option in the VPA Invoice section to apply a discount to the final campaign amount due -- like how the agent deductions work in commission worksheet 2.
We offer a % discount to vendors that pay their campaign account upfront and would be great to just apply that discount to the total cost (also outlining what they're saving by paying upfront) rather than creating all our Advert Pack campaigns again with that % discount applied.
When we campaign prices, we would then have to update double the amount of packages due to the different module costs within…

Sales Advice "deposit" breakdown to allow for initial deposit date paid/due & full deposit date paid/due
Since buyers can pay their deposits in various ways & at different times i.e. an initial 0.25% deposit on a particular date with the balance due on another date OR no initial deposit but a full deposit due on a particular date, it would be clearer if we can note a breakdown of when they paid each amount &/or when it's due rather than only 1 "deposit date" under Selling details on the Sales Advice as this isn't clear as to whether it's actually been paid or if it's DUE to be paid. Upgrade of Reminder and Track System
We would like to have considered features we had in our previous CRM system that enhance it being more automated with the use of tracks:
- Ability to email both contacts from within one client record, so that tracks can include communication by email to both parties (or even outside of tracks general emails etc can be sent to both parties would also be most helpful)
- Ability to automatically assign when setting up the track who the correspondence within the track is to go to (i.e. When it’s a Seller letter, having to manually search for and attach the Vendor creates…

Linking Mass Merged Emails to a Property
When sending mass merged emails to contacts who have placed feedback on a listing, it does not log to the listing but it does to the client. This makes it difficult to know which clients you have sent emails to.
Can the mass merged email can be linked to the Listing, making it easy to see who has been sent a mass merged email.

Is there a way I can create a list of people eg tag them then attach a reminder to call them all rather than just one at a time?
Eg I go through and search a particular group of people, make a list and would then like to add an activity to call them all and set a reminder to do so so that it shows up on my dashboard. It would also help when delegating old data to new employees to call through and clean up.

Stop Calendar allowing conficting appointment times
Currently there is nothing to stop anyone from organising a conflicting appointments in a calendar. For instance if you have made a vendor appointment for 12 oclock on Saturday on your calendar, an office administrator can still book you in to show a property AT THE SAME TIME, which is obviously going to cause some problems. (see attached example of one that occurred in our office) It would be good if you could add a feature that gave you a warning when you try to make a conflicting appointment, as happens with other calendars like outlook. VENDOR REPORT - Marketing and promotional activities should be included in the report
I would like my vendors to be able to see on the Vendor Report where and when their property has been advertised eg. newspapers, websites, letterbox drops, email newsletter, Facebook etc..
For instance, the date it appeared in the newspaper, which newspaper it was in and the size of the ad.
For websites, which portals it was on, whether it was a standard or feature listing and if featured when that expires.
For Facebook, when it was posted, and if it was a paid/ boosted Facebook ad the details of that.
When it appeared in our newsletter.

Vendor Portal
This is based off property management software and it is a login system used by owners to login and see the feedback on a daily basis for their property. It does require the agent to fill in the inspection details and comments each day, but it lets the owners feel like they have live information, rather than having to wait for a report to be sent (or not sent sometimes) each week.

Owner & Vendor
Owner and Vendor is the same thing. Suggestion would be to enable Vendor to be selected from a Contact, with also the Vendors Solicitor in the field. We use repeat vendors using the same solicitor and having to double entry this all the time.
Also would be beneficial to be able to select Solicitor from dropdown or autosearch section

Add the ability to add two contacts onto the one invoice
Where clients are separated etc we need the ability to have them on the same invoice without having to have them under the same contact

Alway's blind copy (BCC) email
Would like the option to be able to 'Always Blindcopy (BCC) yourself' when sending an email from REX.

Completed date for reminders
When you have a reminder that is part of a track it would be ideal if the completed date was added to the reminder when you tick it off instead of the date that the reminder was set for. Most of the time the reminder date is set ahead as you are just "guessing" a date as it is part of a track that asks for in how many days is the reminder due from adding the track.

Tick boxes
Tick box list for the property features rather then adding one at a time then it going back to the top of the list each time... Some people do not like typing each feature each time. It's alot easier if you could go alphabetically and tick which ones you want to add.

Stream - User can see correspondence sent to record even with no privileges to the record
If a user has no rights to view a record, they can see email/letter/SMS in the records stream.
This should be hidden if you have no access to the record.12 votes -
Track Dates
Currently you can set tracks according to:
a. a start date, and
b. forward dates.
Track functionality and usefulness would be significantly advanced it you could:
a. Specify actions according to key dates associated with the listing record (i.e. listing date, expiry date, contract date, expected unconditional date and expected settlement date), and
b. dates could be calculated forward and back from a these dates.
We were able to do this in our previous software and it was great . . .

1. Triggering addition of tracks based on an event.
2. Having reminders that are attached to floating dates (e.g. unconditional date, settlement date etc). E.g. 3 days before unconditional.Would be good to get some more info on both of these items.

- Presumably you want support for this in multiple modules. If so, is it all modules or just some?
- For each module, what are the events that you think should be supported for triggering track addition?
- Is this an automatic process or is the user prompted to add the track when the event occurs.
- If the desire is for the track addition it to be automatic, how do we deal with questions like which contact should a track be attached to in a listing or property that includes multiple contacts…

Agent Newsletters - Ability to change listing agents names to your own.
REX needs to implement the ability to remove the listing agents details from properties which are pulled through when creating newsletters of new listings. The listing agents details can be seen when you click on the read more link on a listing, and this brings up the listing agents name, and this is a problem when the agent sending company listings to their own clients, are not the listing agent (as they don't want to encourage their own clients to call someone else!).
