Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Commercial Listings - Floor Area Range

    When there are multiple Floor Area options available - either in a building or warehouse, it'd be great to have the option to input a range for Floor Area.

    Realcommercial allow this as an option, as it is quite common with commercial listings.

    Could Rex add in a range field that can be sent for commercial listings?

  2. We don't want users completing certain reminders assigned to them

    At the moment a user can complete any reminder that is assigned to them. In most cases this is fine, but in some instances it would be better if they couldn't. An example would be contract dates - at the moment a user can mark a contract as unconditional or settled when we would prefer an admin user to do this. It would be good to have an option for reminders that are assigned to a user, but can't be updated by them.

  3. Filter Contacts that are Linked to a Listing

    It would be great to have the capability to filer contacts that are linked to a listing.

    Currently you can only filter contacts if you have entered their feedback on a listing. However, some people enquire on a listing but don't necessarily view the property or give feedback.

    It would be great to have this filter option so that I can let all buyer's know that have enquired on the property of the sold result, even though they haven't given feedback.

  4. Manual match listings automatically attached to feedback

    It would be great if the manual matched listings, sent out in emails were attached to feedback automatically. So that when you do a Vendor report, you can show the Vendor all of the people that you directly emailed the listing to. And also on the flip-side, when you are in the Buyer's profile, you can see all of the listings you have mentioned to them in "view list of listings attached to feedback"

  5. Search Appraisals by date

    On the default My Appraisal's page, it would be great to have a column viewable as DATE APPRAISED, or have the DATE CREATED as the date it was appraised rather than the date the property was created. I know there is some functionality through the advanced filters to search by date of appraisal.

    Appraisals are one of the key functionalities that we work with, and we need quick easy access to all the key information - and one of these is knowing easily when the property was appraised and being able to search around it with ease.

  6. Sales advice custom details

    It would be nice if we could add a notes section, or some custom fields at the botttom of the page. There's plenty of left over space at the bottom of the sales advice so some customisabililty would be nice.

  8. Feedback - Create Follow-Up Feedback

    We feel the buyer/liting follow-up feedback should follow on in the original feedback box. Therefore we and the vendors can more easily follow the timeline of feedback for that particular buyer. eg When currently reading a vendor report feedback for each buyer is spread across the entire report. We believe we should be able to look at a buyer and in the same section know exactly where that buyer is at.

  9. Ability to reorder documents attached to records

    When several documents are attached to a listing, it would be great to be able to manually change the order they are listed.

  10. Viewing notes that others have left on your records

    When using a closed office role, you can only view the notes that you leave on a record. But if you have admin staff leave notes on records you own, you can't view it. The only alternative we have is to enable users to view all notes, which gives them access to Notes on ALL records, not just their own.

    It would be great if there was an additional privilege that would enable record owners to view notes on their records, left by other users.

  11. Solicitor name to appear in drop down when sending emails

    We send an email to the solicitors straight from Rex to order the contract. It would be great if the solicitors name could also appear (under the owners name) when you click the drop down next to "to" in the email box rather than having to type the solicitor contact in. As it is very easy to accidentally send the Request Contract email to the owner rather than the solicitor when the owner is the only option shown... when you're in a rush... which we always are ;)

  12. Drag and drop emails/paperwork into the documents tab to load

    To have the ability to 'drag and drop' correspondence, emails and paperwork into the documents tab to load. This would help us work faster and would be a more efficient way of working.

  13. Commission by agent - unconditional properties in a period excluding properties released in that same period

    Could we please get a report showing commissions by agent with a list of properties that are currently unconditional & not yet settled/released. The Commissions by agent report for unconditional properties within a date range currently shows both unconditional and released if they are settled in the date range selected. The commission cash flow report doesn't filter by agent.

    If a new report can't be created, maybe a filter option added to exclude released properties.

  14. Abililty to embed Fields in subject line of email template

    Zoho have a great feature that lets you embed you fields (system & custom) into the subject line of your template emails.

    Example Subject Lines

    "CONTACT NAME, here is the file i spoke about"

    "Open Home confirmation for PROPERTY NAME"

    "Thank-you for your enquiry about PROPERTY NAME"

  16. Confidential sale price

    Hide sale price on Dashboard stream for confidential sales (raised with REX on 22/07/16). – tick box required or marketing override for ‘hide sold price’ to include Dashboard stream.

  17. Have IRE Book Inspection Button on E-Brochures

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to have the InspectRealEstate Book Inspection Button possible on the E-Brochure of a listing. This would allow our clients to book directly into property inspections when we send them a copy of the E-Brochure instead of once they have viewed the brochure having to then contact us to book in for an inspection.

  18. Automatic Vendor Reports

    Set up automatic vendor reports to go out weekly/fortnightly (as desired by rep depending on market conditions) - buyer inspection notes, price feedback, home opens completed, marketing completed etc all collates into one report.

    We may need to enter internet hits the morning before they go out (eg. import CSV files from realestate.com, reiwa, domain.

    Enable agent comments - so we can enter a comment the morning before they go out on what has happened in the market since the last report, agency news etc (goes onto all vendor reports not individual)

    Great suggestion Naomi. We’d definitely like to explore the feasibility of implementing something like this, but there’s a fair few things to consider.

    We’ll keep you posted if the feature progresses.

  19. Icons for study and pool in brochures

    It would be nice to have icons for study and pool
    Ie. Some properties are 3 bed plus study

  20. Dot points for advertisements

    ability to click to add dot points in the marketing body. At the moment we only seem able to click on a star or copy and paste a dot point from word.
