Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Under Contract Properties Appearing on the Dashboard Stream

    The issue we (and many other offices) face is that we are wasting time promoting listings which are under contract and/or no longer available. This is because we don't receive a status change on our dashboard streams.

    We think having the ability to show under contract listings on the dashboard will be very beneficial. It makes sense to think if a property is under contract, then the status of the listing has changed and is should be updated to reflect this.

    The dashboard already has the option to filter property status changes, but, for some reason 'under contract' does not…

    Hi Heinrich,

    Our developers thought very highly of your suggestion. It hasn’t been approved just yet (as the developers are still brainstorming possible ways that it could be implemented into the system) but we’re hopeful it will become a future Rex feature at some point down the road.

    Thanks again for your great idea, and taking an active interest in the development of Rex.

  2. Reprint letters/resend emails that have already been sent

    At the moment if you want to resend or reprint a letter/email merge you've already sent you have to recreate it. It would be good if there was a print duplicate or resend button to make the process less manual.

  3. vendor report

    Show all the OPEN HOME that were recorded for the property on the vendor report.
    identify which individual buyers are hot? only graph shows but can't tell specifically which buyers?

  4. Customisable reasons for Archived Appraisals

    Requesting the ability to create your own archive reasons for appraisals. This way, agencies can create archive reasons to suit their needs.

  5. Days on Market

    The current Days on Market in REX reports calculates from the day the listing is entered into REX, as opposed to the number of days since it is "published" which is when it's actually hitting the market. Be great if the reporting could be updated to pull from the "Published Date" so that the reports were then accurate.

  6. Attach email & SMS merges created from 'view contacts attached to feedback' to the listing the merge is regarding.

    When sending a merge to all contacts attached to feedback on a listing;

    Open Listing
    Go to Feedback
    View List of Contacts attached to Feedback
    Select Contacts
    Merge > SMS/Email

    These merge emails or SMS don't currently attach to the listing that the contacts were pulled from when sent, therefore the agent's work is not recorded in the Listing record & can't show on the Vendor Report.

    It would be great if there was a way to be able to attach these actions to the listing, so that they can then show on the Vendor Report.

  7. Projects

    When adding the listings into Projects & Stages, we should be able to have the ability to add each listing similar to how you add each listing to the Buildings area - this is much simpler and more efficient as you only have to add the lot number (or unit number) all the other info is duplicated. This will save a lot of time, the current system is very time consuming especially for new land estates which have hundreds of blocks and all need to be added as individual listings before you can add the listings to the stages.

  8. Give agents ability to view dashboards of other users within their permission group

    At the moment, only admin users can view dashboard as other users. It would be super handy for agents (only within the same permission group) to be able to view each other's dashboards. This would enable agents working within a team to help clear reminders and other notifications.

  10. Add Reminder button within Stream/Stepthrough view.

    I personally love the stepthrough for reminders.
    What would be fantastic would be once you're in the stepthrough, either at the bottom of the stepthrough underneath where you would tick off the task, or within the Stream tab instead of the Reminders tab, the button to add a Reminder instead of a note so from the one screen you can add a follow up reminder.

    Currently to do so it's a case of clicking out of the stream and then into the Reminders to then add a reminder and select the date for follow-up.

  11. Conjunctional Agent details

    When entering a Conjunctional Listing it would be very useful to be able to enter the details of the agent that the listing is in conjunction with.

  12. Commission Targets

    Could we please have the option to set Commission Targets for each salesperson?
    We need the ability to set monthly Gross Commission targets which can be tracked against the gross commission Award Allocations for each salesperson.

  13. View only your contact records in searches

    It would be ideal if agents on a closed office privilege set could only see their contacts in the search field.
    Eg. If a contact has been entered numerous times, then the agent has to find the right contact by opening each one.

    In our global search overhaul we recently released, we now "boost" contact records you own in the search results. We are looking to eventually roll out a similar search mechanism app-wide so you can select the right contact quicker.

  14. The ability to see the receivers email address in the to, cc field when they are selected.

    The ability to see the receivers email address in the to, cc field when they are selected to send an email to. With such a large database it would be great if we have 2 contacts with the same name in our database (ie Sally Smith) that we can identify immediately the correct contact without having to click through the contacts.

  15. Abilty to Data Export 'Match Profile' information from Contacts

    The ability to export the Match Profile information from the Contact record view - to have it as a selection on the Data Export. This would be invaluable in creating reports for match profile trends.

  16. Unsubscribers Report

    The ability to produce some form of report/CSV export for those who have unsubscribed from a particular list.

    Its great it automatically unsubscribes but it'd be handy to know who has unsubscribed.

  17. GST exclusive

    I need it to be able to show the price as GST Ex when entering the VPA but then in the total, to have a GST amount, then a total include the GST amount.

  18. Area to add Licence number to Invoices, etc

    It would be nice to have a specific spot to put your agency licence number in so it'll show on invoices, etc.

    You can currently enter it in the Admin > Agency Branding area, but there's not a specific spot for it. Can we please have it added.

  19. Lead Dropbox - Auto Parsing / Processing (Specific Permissions Set)

    We and many offices use permission settings whereby agents can only see their owned contact records and duplicates are created.

    It would be great if Auto-parsing with Leads Dropbox would add a contact record only if it is owned by the agent.

    Secondly, see picture attached, there should be info available in grey next to name when reviewing what contact record you need to select including:
    -agent that owns record.

    Thirdly, in the event that you need to manually create a record, I agree with this:

  20. Have the ability to exclude the due date on invoices

    As the majority of our marketing is paid at settlement (unless a property is withdrawn) we need the ability to exclude the due date on invoices. Our vendors are sent a copy of marketing and we find that vendors are confused and think they have to pay instead of being handled at settlement by the conveyancer. Even if we could have the ability to edit and enter 'payable at settlement' as an option that would suit our market here in South Australia.
