Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.

  1. Customise Caller ID Overlay

    Having caller ID that can overlay an incoming call is awesome. However, being able to customise the data overlaid would be amazing. For example, having the name and address pop up would be better as some contacts are easier to remember by address.

  2. Agent reporting

    Instead of having notes, reminders, feedback, appraisals & new listings in all separate reports, have it as one report.

  3. Stop shutting the program down and having to re-sign in al the time. Drives me nuts!!!!!

    It is terribly annoying when you were just using the program a minute ago, and then you have to sign in again. Can you please stop this?

  4. Would love to be able to "live chat" the helpdesk

    To have help "at the ready" when I have a question (currently cannot find a phone number for the helpdesk and emails take too long).

  5. Relating a Contact to a Building.

    It would be handy if there was the option to relate a contact to a Building as you cal already relate a property to a building and a contact to a property.

    this feature would make managing related contacts to shopping centers and large buildings easier.

  6. Sending Brochures to 'Reverse Match' Contacts

    It think it would be really helpful to be able to have the brochures (not the link) sent in an email to contacts who are selected in a "Reverse Match" situation for a listing.
    We can then use this when we just list a property and send it to our database, if there is a new price change or if the property goes from one sale method to another (private treaty to auction for example).

    I'd like to see an option in the "template" that says something along the lines of "Property Brochure" or whatever, so when it is chosen…

  7. Property listing status: Off Market

    Can you please add a property status of "Off Market". Off market sales are becoming more common in the industry and we need a way to differentiate these listings on our website (i.e. not include them in currently For Sale listings). Note that Off Market listings are the same as For Sale, just a different flag or status. They are not withdrawn - they are for sale. Most other software has it under the Status property, along with For Sale, Withdrawn, Sold, etc.

  8. Make data filtering more accessible in Rex's contact and listing record screens to avoid having to export to CSV and sort.

    Currently can't filter all search result columns and it would be great to add certain data fields to the columns for more specific sorting:

    • Allow sorting on all current columns – ID, Contract Status, Listing Agents, Owned By, Created By, Modified By currently unable to sort results by these columns

    • Multiple levels of column sorting – Eg. Sort by Creation Date as the primary sort then further sort by Listings Agent allowing for easier bulk actions. I can’t remember the web app I’ve used but a column sort, then a control-click on the secondary column would sort the…

  9. Automatically tag through REA to Rex

    Once an enquiry comes through from REA on a listing, can we set a rule in Rex that it automatically tags the contact? so we don't have to go back to the person and manually assign a tag?

  10. Newsletters - make the pictures in the event table bigger and include more info

    Would be great to have more event table options e.g. one with bigger pictures and more information i.e. configuration and advertised price. The current options look out of date compared to other programs and aren't very informative. Makes it too much of a hassle for people on the go as they have to click through each individual listing to see if the property is even relevant to them.

  11. Improved Vendor Reporting - Summarise all notes/comments under a buyers contact

    Instead of having lots of little comments from each time you speak to a buyer, combine all the comments under a buyers name. It will make the report much more readable and have the most up to date feedback entry at the top.

  12. History of Price Changes on a property

    On all properties - could we have the list date and time stamped so we can see what has happened over time. And also it helps with offers so we can see what has happened.

  13. Custom suburb lists

    Ability to create custom suburb lists - so that when adding a match profile to a contact you may be able to easily add a pre-made suburb list. Most clients will be looking in particular areas, and we will have to type in each suburb individually or search by postcode to add relevant suburbs for their pmatch profile. If you could develop custom lists of suburbs, for example in the Hobart region I may create a custom 'Eastern Shore' list that will addi all suburbs on the Eastern Shore (different postcodes) - rather than searching for multiple suburbs/postcodes which is…

  15. e-brochure link to say SOLD

    Be able to generate an e-brochure link that mentions SOLD and the sold price.

    This would be a wonderful tool to email to people after a property has sold.

  17. Emails to be locked

    If multiple agents have update permissions to a contact, they should only be able to see their own emails that are sent from Rex. The same way that Notes are locked down.

  18. Report - Property Settlement Dates

    It would be good to have a data box (similar to birthday one) against all properties so we can enter in a last known settlement date for that property. Then we can run a report each month and see what properties settled and send out a card. We can run a report of settled contracts of an agent but if we do an appraisal and they don't want to sell yet or may want to sell in a few years - it would be nice to send them a card on their anniversary even if they bought property back in…

  20. Add option to select type of method used for follow-up feedback

    When adding follow-up feedback there should be a drop-down box with the method used to contact the client (e.g. phone call, email, etc.) so it can be added to the vendor report.

    For example, if I call 5 OFI attendees and add their feedback, I would like those 5 calls to be added to the tally in the 'agent activity' section of the vendor report. At the moment these calls are not tallying up so it appears to a vendor that we are not making many calls relating to the property.
