Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Pocket Agenda Update

    1. Show the clients email address

    2. Show the last note left against the client/property

    This will help improve the speed in which the sales agents can complete their calls.

  2. Homepass Buyers from OFI's into Rex

    As we have a separate database for each agent, it is awkward when Homepass automatically finds an already existing contact belonging to another agent and automatically adds permissions for the new agent to that entry. Is there a way to create a new contact for the new agent through Homepass.
    Also when doing a vendor report, Homepass lumps all the ofi contacts as one comment - not allowing for individual comments per buyer - because of this reporting is not possible for individual buyers.

  3. Entering Enquiries/Leads - How do you tell the difference between a rental & sale listing?

    Does your office have a receptionist that takes client and customer enquiries?

    Did you know... if you have a landlord that would like to try and sell his investment while it is vacant, but is also looking for a tenant at the same time, there is currently no way that you can tell the difference between the two listings in REX when entering a new enquiry / lead.

    A simple fix would be to put 'Residential Sale' or 'Residential Rental' showing beside the listing when searching for the property address in the Leads section.

  4. Related Properties option when exporting contacts list

    It would be nice to have the option - when exporting a contact list - to include Related Properties information.

    This option is available when exporting form the Properties list (It will display up to 3 related contacts).

  5. New 'Newsletter Block' required for open home times

    It would be great if it could show the price, a brief description, main listing image and the agent contact details.

    Attached is an open home report which would be great to copy to the Rex newsletter template.

  7. New columns for 'sold properties' view

    It would be great to have a new view for 'sold properties'. We would like the most recent sale date to pull through to this view.

    We would also like these additional columns to be added to the view:
    Address
    Sold price
    Sold Date
    Contract Agent (selling agent)
    Most recent 'past owner'
    Current owner

    I have attached a screen shot from RP Data and also an old CRM system we used - their formats are very easy to use.

  8. Booking Advertisments

    When I list a property, I insert all the marketing that we do and add in the booking dates - sign, internet, title search etc all on one date then tick as booked as they are completed then each of the newspaper ads for their campaign i put in for those Saturdays we want them to be booked on. I generate the To be booked report for each Saturday every week which shows me all the listings due to have an ad for the weekend.   9. When deposit is received it should automatically update in the contract details

  10. Open home filter / export to excel option

    OPEN FOR INSPECTION / OFI FILTERING OPTIONS: Ability to use filter option in "Listings" to generate current Home Open/OFI lists to export to Excel.

    If we could have a filter option that allows you to search "Listing Event - Home Open Date" (already there) but with option to say "after" today (currently you can only put a date in the after field....so you can't save the filter, and include the option in the "export" to have the Date, Start and End Time, so that a list of home opens can be generated.

  11. organise better so when you are in contacts and click 'back' arrow it doesn't take you back to all contacts

    I get frustrated when I am in my contacts and enter someone new in and then click 'back' arrow and it takes me back to all contacts our company has! I want it to leave me in mine only.

  12. Include link to web version of newsletter

    Hi. A standard practice for sending email newsletters is to include a link to " a web version" of the newsletter. This is because not all email clients display newsletters the same way and some won't display images, so have a link to a web based version helps by displaying the newsletter the way it was intended.

  13. Create a Lease expiry field linked to a contact and property

    Have the ability to add a lease expiry date to a contact, which is then linked to a property.
    The purpose is to contact a tenant and a vendor in advance of the expiry date to see if any assistance is required.
    Being able to filter the 'forthcoming' expiry dates gives the agent a list to follow-up for say 6 months from expiry from that particular month.

  14. Adding Building Details to building record that will automatically populate when adding new property - Pool, amenities, etc

    Include the ability to add building details to a Building record. Then, when you create a property from this record, it will give you the option to automatically populate these fields.

    For example, adding a pool and gym facilities to a building and having them auto fill when creating a linked property.

  15. VENDOR REPORT - Serious interest from buyers on report

    In feedback report I would like to be able to identify clearly those that are interested to those who are not. So we can just click a button so they are at the top of the inspection until such time as they are no longer interested

  16. Just Listed/Sold Map

    To be able to have a 'generate map' button of all the places an agent has listed/sold in a particular area.
    This will enable the agent visually see the properties listed/sold by the agent so they can make contact with their past clients in the street when they list another property in the area.
    Benefits: post client nurture for future sales

  17. VENDOR REPORT - Mass emails and SMS to be recorded

    I would like to see mass emails & SMS's recorded against the property, so that they show up in the vendor reports. Mass SMS's is a great feature, however, if it is only recorded against the contact and not the listing, the work done by the agent is not being recorded for the vendor to acknowledge.

  18. View Selected Records Option

    When making a selection of properties from a list it would be useful to be able to view just the selected records. Additional info or notes can then be added by scrolling through the selected records.

  20. Bulk email property brochure to (reverse) matched buyers

    We can currently only email a brochure to individual buyers via the buyer's 'match' button. It would be super efficient to be able to send a brochure for that property to all matching buyers via the 'reverse match' feature on the property page, rather than having to go to create a new newsletter/template for every single new listing.

    New Listing -> match -> select relevant buyers (these are all current features)... Just need to add -> 'email brochure' to the mass actions list.
