Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. OFI List - Filter Agent Option

    When generating an OFI List Report, it would be great to be able to filter specific agents only and not every agent in the office.

  2. Charts in Vendor reports for projects

    For Projects:

    There should be one Chart for Enquiry Source and another for say follow ups, private inspections. etc. Enquiry Source is great for showing where enquiry is coming from and also to relate it back to Ad spend. There should be only one enquiry source note per enquiry. Ie a buyer enquires on Unit A, then gets followed up, maybe a few back and forward emails (ie more feedback notes) then an appointment etc., that should be counted as one enquiry from say REA.   3. Leads and vendor reports not matching

    Currently the leads come in and sit waiting to be processed. Once this has been processed against the person and listing, currently the system does not recognise this as an enquiry. You then have to enter the details again under the contacts enquiry tab. If you do not do this, the vendor report does not recognise there has been an enquiry. This is double handling and taking up precious time.

  4. Emails to be locked

    If multiple agents have update permissions to a contact, they should only be able to see their own emails that are sent from Rex. The same way that Notes are locked down.

  5. Make data filtering more accessible in Rex's contact and listing record screens to avoid having to export to CSV and sort.

    Currently can't filter all search result columns and it would be great to add certain data fields to the columns for more specific sorting:

    • Allow sorting on all current columns – ID, Contract Status, Listing Agents, Owned By, Created By, Modified By currently unable to sort results by these columns

    • Multiple levels of column sorting – Eg. Sort by Creation Date as the primary sort then further sort by Listings Agent allowing for easier bulk actions. I can’t remember the web app I’ve used but a column sort, then a control-click on the secondary column would sort the…

  6. Updated Drop and Drag Module Feature in Email Marketing

    I just had a trial with a different CRM yesterday (not that we are thinking about switching) just to have a look. They did have one great email marketing builder similar to MailChimp where you can drop and drag modules into an EDM. The modules where on the left hand side of the email and you could click say reviews, agent profile, two property feature, single property feature etc etc. I thought the REX team might be interested in checking it out.   7. deleted user appraisal

    Currently when a user is deleted, their name is also deleted from an appraisal so that once an agent is deleted, if we find an appraisal that they have previously done we can not see who has actually done it. The name is blank. When an agent is deleted, we should still be able to see the agent's name on the appraisal the same as we can see that agent's name on the ownership of the record.

  8. Custom field date format to carry across in merge templates

    Currently, when you add in a date to a custom field on a custom tab, it will show as (for example) "13 June 2018", but the format of this date does not carry across to merge templates. On merge templates, it will show as 13/06/2018.

    This improvement request is to have the date format to carry across to templates.

  9. reverse match tags

    Currently when performing a Reverse Buyer Match the only 2 options are: Price only, or Full. I want to be able to select to only match with buyers whose Match Profile contains a specific Tag.

    This will create a far more accurate list excluding people who can afford the property but for whom it wouldn't suit, and only showing buyers who are specifically looking for that type of property.

  10. Entering Duplicate Contacts - Open Homes

    Hi there, when you type a contact name slightly differently but the phone number is the same, a duplicate notification comes up with the option to 'add anyway'. If in fact it is a duplicate, it is very annoying having to then get out of that screen and retype the name that is already present in the database.

    Would it be possible to add another option where you can check the person in using their details that are already in the system within the same screen? I.e. when you get the duplication notification, there is a separate button where you…

  11. User created 'adhoc' tags viewable by administrators

    There needs to be a way of viewing all the 'adhoc' user created tags in REX. If staff leave and you want to re-assign tags to others and they haven't used the system tags, you need to search for the various tags that were created by the user.

    There needs to be another admin section that shows all user created tags that can be filtered.

    Eg (SETTINGS -> CUSTOM VALUES, TAGS & MAILING LISTS)

    System Tags
    Mailing Lists
    User Tags (New option) - displays all user created 'adhoc' tags

  12. Have your signature saved for receipts and payments in the Trust A/c Function

    Have a function where each user can save their signature so that it can automatically be applied to receipts and payments. Instead of having to print, sign, scan, save and then email to clients. This is very time consuming and I feel unnecessary if this could automatically be attached to the document.

  13. Contact Group

    Hi! I would like to suggest a REX contact group option. This would be handy for our tracks when sending emails through REX from Sales Agents to our Admin team. We currently have tasks that are set to email which we'd then send an email template from but there is only the option to add individual contacts from it. We use many distribution groups within our outlook email on a daily basis and I believe this could be beneficial from our CRM.

    A free form text box for comments relating to buyers intricate criteria for future reference. Eg - "Looking for walking distance to bus stop on".. or, "Would look house with a pool or room for a pool", Or, "definitely does not want a pool"

  16. Send Vendor reports directly from pocket

    When will we be able to send our vendors a home open report easily from Pocket while on the run?... In this world of everyone wanting instant feedback it’s just crazy that we don’t have this basic functionality

  17. Report for VPA budgets

    We need a report for VPA budgets. We are currently doing quarterly reporting and part of this is to show the average VPA amount being requested to vendors by sales agents. Sometimes the invoice amount is less than the budget amount if the rep has request extra funds 'just in case' so the invoice reporting won't be accurate.

  18. OAB's - a report that calculates the number of days on the market to use for target marketing purposes.

    I currently use the days OABs have been on the market to send out different marketing material (dependent on how long they have been on the market)
    I use an excel formula/spreadsheet to do this....it would be great if you could incorporate this into a report, so you don't have to export and then work out the dates.

  19. Match Profile Campaigns & Multi Office Locations

    For multi office locations, we would love to have the match alert campaign email come from the office location of the listing, rather than the owner of the "contact".

    E-brochures need to have the links to tours, video and anything else we add. It's an e-brochure yet does contain e- features
