Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

    UNCONDITIONAL CONTRACT STATUS PORTAL FEED TO REA:

    It would be great if consideration could be given to the default portal feed for when a property is updated to unconditional in REX, to match the policy requirements of the REA portal feeds (i.e. REA policy requires them to be notified within 72 hours of an unconditional property that the property has been "sold", however REX currently doesn't provide this update to sold in their unconditional portal feed to REA, so the property remains as Under Offer on REA (when this is actually against their policy).   2. Approve or deny features in a quicker manner

    Votes being returned or more votes given per user given the time it takes to approve or deny features. Some have over 100 votes and are over 18 months old yet the feature has not been approved for development or denied for development so peoples votes are just siitting idle.

  3. Send email to agency when marketing credit balance gets low

    We need to be able to check the balance of our marketing credits, perhaps an email notification to a specific user when the balance is low.

  4. Ability to Lock out another user when updating a record

    We've run into an issue a fair few times where more than one user is accessing & updating the same record.

    When one person clicks save, it will update for them - but when the other clicks save, it overwrites the first person's changes.

    It would be great to to lock other users out or provide read-only access when another user is already viewing/updating the record.

  5. View Selected Records Option

    When making a selection of properties from a list it would be useful to be able to view just the selected records. Additional info or notes can then be added by scrolling through the selected records.

  6. The difference between a property page and listing page should be more visibly different ( different page colour maybe ? )

    I would like the property page and the listing page to be visibly different from one another . In administration when working with both and jumping from one to the other it would save time . I am constantly interrupted by calls, walk ins, staff etc so if the listing page was for example YELLOW then I would not have to recheck where i was at . Both pages look the same at a glance and a small house or sign icon just isn't enough .

  7. UI / Sort Functionality Improvements

    I'm not sure where to put this -- maybe each point should be separate, but they all sort of go hand in hand.

    --Selecting multiple records in search results--
    Currently when you click the check box after you've completed a search, all records are selected. It would be great to have the option to 'Select All' and 'Deselect All' but having the current single checkbox only selecting all the records displayed on that page. I've had instance when I want to select all the records on one page, but then only select a few on the next one but currently…

  8. Allow Assistants to Select the Agent they are Assisting as the Owner of Records They are Inputting to Rex

    If our administration team are entering the data for multiple agents, there is no way to tell in the backend who is who's, unless tagged. Rex default all of their data entered as being owned by the admin person who is typing it in under their login. How about having an option where they can select an agent, and Rex records them against the information, but the elected agent as the owner? At the moment, I have admin use my login to enter all my data to avoid this issue. This then causes problems where they don't see their tasks…

  9. Incorporate a Property Management System via REX

    The trust accounting software is in place, the invoicing is in place, the tracks & reminders are in place, and the rest of REX is functional. The only aspect that REX has yet to offer is the ability to manage properties via their software & from a functionality perspective, it appears as if it may simply require a tweek of some coding and the function may become available.

  10. Insert a tick box to attach E-brochure under the property selection field in emails to clients

    Insert a tick box to attach E-brochure under the property selection field in merge emails to clients. this would avoid having to go to the property id to send brochure. Would be good to be able to put in multiple properties and attach respective brochures

  11. Add Contact/property feature to be improved to be able to "Select/Change/Read/Add"

    e.g. when prompted to "add a contact/company/property we should have the option to add the contact in, in its entirety, for example postal address, phone number, ability to add more than one person etc. We should be able to have an option to change/read a contact record and make sure the record we are applying is correct and make changes if we need to instead of having to go to the plus button to add a contact/company properly or to change it. There is a lot of doubling up with this feature currently and its easy to apply incorrect data…

  12. Ability to specify a record owner when adding a property/contact/company

    It would be great to be able to choose the record owner that a record is assigned to when it's being added to the system, instead of it automatically being owned by the logged in user. eg. just after you've clicked on the '+' button and you're entering the contact name, phone number and email address. In our office a lot of our records are added in by our admin staff and they're having to either reassign them manually as they go - or wait until the end of the day and do it as a mass action.   14. Ability to increase the on screen window space manually to see more than 1 or 2 lines of text when composing emails/adding notes

    In certain areas you can already increase the on-screen text window size to see more of the information in the window, like when drafting the text to a listing.

    However in the buyer matching section when matching property & then emailing those matches only a very small window is available to draft/modify the text on the email.

    Can the same window function be applied here?

  15. Needs a prompt if leaving a page without without saving

    When we (for example) load documents, if we leave the page without hitting save - the system does not alert that there are unsaved changes, even though the documents look like they have been uploaded as they appear in the document list.

    Can this be looked at as a matter of priority please as this can cause delays on processing contracts etc.

  16. Flag the training videos after watching

    Flag the training videos after watching to show that they the user has been thru the training. When a user goes back to the training videos they have no idea of what they have watched and what they haven't.

  17. In building view, order properties & listings in number order (ie: 101, 102, 103 etc)

    Currently the properties show in the order they are added to building which makes finding them difficult. Please display them in logical numerical order

  18. Work Orders and Quote Requests

    Work Orders and Quote Requests: I would love to be able to raise work orders and quote requests for sales properties, similar to raising invoices. The work order would be an authority document requesting a trades person to carry out maintenance work at a property with relevant contact and billing details.

  19. Availability of more fonts

    To enable greater customisation within the brochure design mode, and when creating letter templates and reports, it would be great to have access to a wider selection of fonts. For example, my agency's brand font is "Exo", which is a freely available font.

    Hi all,

    We’re looking into adding support for custom fonts for brochures and letters – we can package these fonts into the PDF’s if you have a valid font license to allow for that.

    Emails aren’t going to work as they require the font to be installed on the recipients machine to render correctly.
