Being able to sort contacts by surname instead of the first name or initial.
Because it the logical way to sort contacts by name!
Hi guys,
Thanks for all the feedback on this one – we’ve now added the ability to sort by the surname. What you need to do is:
1. Go to Contacts Module
2. In the far right, click on the drop-down button to reveal the sort options (this is to the right of ‘Last Modified’)
3. Tick the option for ‘Last Name’
You should now have a new column for the last name.
Please contact support if you’re unsure.

can you please advise when this is happening? I have over 500 xmas cards to send out and I need to be able to easily search through my contacts and mark which one Im sending to - at the moment it is ridiculous starting with the letter A - we have everyone with a first name starting with A - not surname. It is absolutely so frustrating not being to find them. Can you please advise the ETA? thanks

I find it very hard to search my contact list of 2500 contacts in alphabetical order. In my previous CRM, I could always search by surname first. My contacts always appeared as, SMITH, Helen Maree. This just doesn't seem possible within your system, and I find it very frustrating, to say the least. Are you able to change the way that the contacts are viewed, showing the surname first, then the given names after that? At the moment, to look at all my A's, for instance, they are all over the shop and it continually wastes so much time.

All lists should be sorted alphabetically

Very important as we deal with last legal names not first names when we often get shortened versions
