Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Auto Match Profile - Enabling Email Contact

    Now that REX has automatic match profiles for online enquires they haven't given the option for alerts to be sent to those match profiles.
    I would like them to enable communications as an option when setting up auto-match profiles.

  2. 2FA tracking

    With 2FA introduced, it would be great if admins could get an alert if this is turned off by a member of staff. Even if we could access a report of who has it turned on/off that would be useful.

    You can now see who has MFA enabled from Users & Security by the grey box next to their name. Attached is a screenshot of how this looks. We will introduce the ability to enforce MFA enrolment in the future. Thank you :)

  3. appraisal features

    When entering an appraisal if there was also a section where you can enter what commission fee you quoted that would be great. Also if you could attach your appraisal in the same section would be great also

  4. Ability to see activated 2 factor users

    Admin user ability to see if team members have activated their 2 factor authenticator.

  5. Ability to add reminders to notes

    When adding a note you should have a feature where you can add a reminder to that note, without having to go in and add a separate reminder.

    Auto Buyer Match - Email Campaign Setting
    When setting up the auto buyer match. There should be an option to set up an Email campaign with the buyer match so that 'buyers will be alerted about similar properties.

  7. Deleting expired Open Homes

    Is there any way you could streamline the Open Homes section of your software so that we can delete multiple expired Open Homes at once?

    Currently, we have to select them all individually to delete them which is quite time-consuming.

    Alternatively, having them self-delete after say 2 weeks would also work.

  8. Capture buyer postcodes at Open homes

    Hello REX peeps. I would love to be able to capture buyer post codes at open homes, using Pocket as we check them in.

    We are happy to let you know this is now available in Rex Mobile (Pocket). When you check in the attendee, there is now a field to capture the 'marketing postcode' on their contact record.

  9. Add a Suburb/Postcode field to the Pocket app

    This will help agents find out what suburb the open home attendee lives in at the door when entering them into the app, this will create leads for agents to follow up with people who already live in their local core area.

  10. Monthly rent display, rather than just weekly

    Display rentals as monthly rather than weekly. We don't use weekly rentals, and Rightmove also doesn’t support weekly rental uploads.

    So when we get an applicant calling into our company asking about how a certain property based on the monthly rent, it makes it very difficult for us to find that specific listing if it’s displayed in weeks.

    I hope we can fix this urgently.

    We have support for listing rentals as per month, including in match profiles. We also support per quarter and per year rentals. Please let us know if there are other areas you feel we could improve our rental capabilities!

  11. Lead allocation

    Our company policy is to have one salesperson service and look after a buyer and therefore it would be good to have the contact owner identifiable in the leads module when an enquiry is made. This would enable the salesperson to refer the buyer back to the contact owner. An alternative solution/development would be to have the lead automatically assigned to the contact owner.

    The new leads update includes some additional settings under Advanced Settings > Leads where you can now auto-assign listing enquiry leads that come into your agency dropbox to the Listing Agent.


    Assignment to the Listing Agent was chosen over the Contact Owner because quite often an enquiry will be from a new contact and so there won't be an owner for them yet. However I've noted this down as a potential improvement to this feature!

  12. QR codes for open homes and collecting buyer details.

    It would be a great idea to integrate with QR codes for our listings, so we can have a code printed largely on entrance, the buyers can scan and enter their details and it feeds into the open home feedback for that listing.

  13. The ability to include the EPC on brochures automatically

    Add a merge filed to pull the EPC data from the listing into a brochure template.

    Thank you for your suggestion. We are delighted to let you know that we have implemented this functionality into Rex.

    You can access this EPC data as an image through our brochure builder. Select Listing Images > Scroll down until you see EPC where you can add it to your page.

  14. Zoom feature for Calendar interface

    I would like the ability to set a zoom level for the Calendar interface, which could be set to Work Hours (as entered in Profile Settings), as well as simple staggered zooms eg. 25%, 50% etc.

    When viewing currently, 15min appointments overlap obscuring text, and I don't need to see from 3am - 11pm in Calendar.

    Thank you for your suggestion. We are delighted to let you know that we have fixed the overlapping issue. See the screenshot attached for what it looks like now. We have not addressed the zoom level of the calendar however.

  16. Listing Feedback Section Load All

    It would be a good idea if we could click feedback and press load all instead of load more, load more, load more to get to the bottom of the feedback. I know you can filter the enquiries, OFI, Private inspection etc but I want to load it all at once.

  17. Display the "+" icon on the home page of Pocket

    At the moment if we receive a phone call out of the office we need to make multiple clicks before we can create a note/feedback to make a record of the discussion. Having the "+" icon appear on the home page of pocket would enable quicker access.

  18. reassign SELECTED reminders not just ALL reminders per contact/property/listing

    I've just changed staff in an admin role, and there are some reminders in our admin role I want to assign to another role in the office. However, Rex only has the ability to find the style of reminder by filtering the reminder description and then viewing the records in either the listing, property or contact. This means that when I reassign bulk reminders all reminders in the listing, property or contact will reassign, not just the one reminder that was filtered per contact, listing or property. Thank you.

  19. Leads - Allow both send email and add feedback before completing

    Currently when processing a lead there is only the option of either sending an email and complete, or add feedback and complete. The work around is doing a mail merge then processing the lead but that is clunky. Would be good if there is an option to send an email (ie. template), add feedback (so appears on vendor report) and then complete the lead.

    We updated the leads dialog in 2022 to include the ability to do common actions right from the lead. This includes sending SMS, emails, adding feedback, reminders and notes, as well as booking appointments.

  20. Auto assigning a match profile from Leads & ofi/inspection contacts

    It would be amazing for REX to be able to auto populate a buyer match profile on to a contact when it is inputted into the system from a LEAD & OFI/Private Inspection. It should populate from the property that the buyer enquired on or inspects within $50k either side.

    Other CRM systems do this and it is amazing for matching buyers quickly and saves time with the agents having to manually put a match profile on to each contact. This is a must have ASAP for agents using the system efficiently and being able to confidently tell an owner…
