Emailing original file instead of sharing link
One of our clients uses an email system that blocks links due to security issues. It would be good if there was an option next to the file that said 'Send Link' or 'Send Original' so that the attachment could actually be attached to the email the traditional way instead of embeded into the email.
Thanks for voting everyone. We're pleased to announce that there is now a setting that lets you choose to send all email attachments as real files, rather than email links.
You can learn more about this new setting - as well as the pros and cons of real attachments vs link attachments - in our announcement post.

Great suggestion. We are always having to resend from outlook as people cannot find or open a link.

Hi, I have had numerous clients come back and say they cannot open the attachment - this is sometimes due to them not locating it in the email down near the signature and sometimes that there system rejects the link.People as a standard look in the attachment area of the email so this option would be really beneficial.

This is something that we've considered except for the fact that emails with attachments actually included are typically MORE likely to be rejected than those with links in them. Particularly with virus scanners that pick up things like PDF documents as potential security vulnerabilities 100% of the time regardless of their content.
There are cons to both methods but a toggle may add to potential complexity however we might consider adding this if you are sending a single email merge depending on user feedback here.
