Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Permission notification

    Can users that are requesting permission to access a record, be notified either by email or within Rex once permission has been granted? This will save a lot of time in checking.

  2. MFA - Implement SMS / Or implement free service provider accounts

    Looking to save your clients fees and increase your data security.

    As a service provider (SP) utilising the REX platform to support many REX clients (C). What we need is a "partner" login that caters for the following use cases:
    a) ability for SP to manage SP employee access.
    b) ability for C to authorise SP to have access to C accounts
    c) SP logins should be free of charge to C. C should not have to pay for SP to securely login across their employees. This is how PropertyMe cater for this.

  3. Allow user profile photos to have a transparent background

    Allow for agent/staff photos to have a transparent background to be able to position better in brochure templates etc.

  4. Remove a user's access from certain categorised listings.

    Remove access of a user from sales listings but that user will still have access to rental listings.

  5. Allow Agents to be on more than one team for PA and Buyers Agents

    The ability for agents to be part of more than 1 team at a time so that PA's and Buyer's Agents that are working for more than 1 agent can see their agent's listings/contacts. They currently have to sign in and out of Rex if they want to see that agent's contacts. Its not practical when following up buyer enquiries. Also it is not appropriate to give them access to all contacts in the system.

  6. Social Media Links in REX User Profile

    In the general details tab of the REX user, where the email, mobile and direct line is, it would be nice to include social media links or provision for and videos, youtube, Instagram, facebook, snapchat, etc.

  7. Permissions to stop access reports showing Commissions etc while allowing KPI reports etc

    We have come across a major problem with the permissions in REX.

    There is no way to use permissions to stop the viewing and printing of Commissions Earned by Agents, Sales by Award, Sales by Participation, Gross Commission, High Level Sales.

    We just need the option for a user to generate KPI reports, VPA reports and generate pending contract conditions without access the confidential commissions etc.

    We need permissions to stop the ability to view the confidential information.

  8. Non admin users to see only their data

    It would be great if sales agents could only see their personally entered data.

    We can do this through filters but there is unnecessary mess when a new agent can see everyone contacts, properties and listings.
    Ideally each user would only see the data they have personally entered and this could be done easily with a privilege setting. By only seeing personal data you could watch your database grow with relevant contacts that you have met or entered personally.
    This would prevent agents marketing to others databases and allow new agents to build relationships with everyone they meet.

  9. Data base privacy.

    We would like individual agents to only see the data they have entered and company contacts (eg solicitors, etc).
    It is very messy and creates issues when each agents can see every appraisal, and contact from the whole business even if they cant edit this info.
    If it were a privilege option business owners could restrict who sees what. Agents would still have the ability to share info with other agents if desired or retain their contacts as their own.
    I would like a user privilege setting to prevent a user from seeing any contact or property they have not…

  10. Update other agents client note from pocket

    When calling other agents client to offer feedback or book inspections from Pocket, ability to update that client with a note about the call. Currently denies access to add note...although access is available from desktop REX to add note..but not make changes.

  11. Ability to prevent users from updating contract status.

    When a user has access to a listing in Rex, there currently isn't a way to stop them from having the ability to change the contract status. We think that this should be available as an option as it can potentially impact our external reporting.

    My suggestion would be to have a privilege setting based specifically on preventing the status from being changed under the legal tab.

  12. Mailing List Permisions

    Hi there,

    When more than 1 agent shares a contact there should be a setting that disables an agent to remove them off a mailing list that isn't theirs.

    The contact should decide what mailing list they are on.

    Agents should be only able to add or remove their own mailing lists to a contact.

    Could you please make this happen ASAP.

  13. Inactive option for staff who still have outstanding contracts.

    We need an inactive option for users once they finish up, regardless of the status of any outstanding contracts/settlements. This would allow us to cancel the 'user' without affecting the listing/contract record.

    Close down privlages further so agents can view contract details but cannot change things such as update sale prices etc.

  15. More detailed user settings and privilege sets VPA Finance Tab

    It would be Great when setting up users if we could have more detailed options in relation to the privilege sets under the VPA and Finance tab.

    For example who can Delete items on the VPA Tab or not , who can create them. Who can invoice them , who can void them and who can delete them. What is happening is agents are creating and then just deleting Finance information willy nilly.

  16. Create new privilege type just for the ability to edit/void invoices

    Under the "Listing Invoices" group of privileges, it would be helpful if we could separate the current "Create & Void Invoices" privilege, to have two privileges "Create Invoices" and "Edit/Void Invoices". This will mean we can allow agents to create invoices but not edit or void them, stopping them from changing invoice dates and re-issuing etc, as this is a current issue we are running into.

  17. Viewing notes that others have left on your records

    When using a closed office role, you can only view the notes that you leave on a record. But if you have admin staff leave notes on records you own, you can't view it. The only alternative we have is to enable users to view all notes, which gives them access to Notes on ALL records, not just their own.

    It would be great if there was an additional privilege that would enable record owners to view notes on their records, left by other users.

  18. Notify task assigner of task completion

    When assigning a task to a Rex user, it would be great to have the option to notify the assigner when it is marked as complete.

    It would be great to have this sent as a single email at the end of each day (rather than an individual email for each one) or some sort of a drop-down stream.

  19. Stream - User can see correspondence sent to record even with no privileges to the record

    If a user has no rights to view a record, they can see email/letter/SMS in the records stream.
    This should be hidden if you have no access to the record.

  20. Locking Marketing Credits to a user

    To avoid agents using marketing credits to send SMS it would be ideal to have the marketing credits locked to a user so that they cannot be accessed by everyone.
