Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  2. ofi times need to automatically fill

    Currently you put in your ofi times to go to internet portals. Why is it that you then need to add your ofi time doing ofi feedback. This should automatically fill when opened.

  3. Rex Calendar Improvements

    1, Enter an APPOINTMENT for a team member directly into the calendar, including attaching the CONTACT(s) (for contact details)

    1. Attach and synchronise a PROPERTY (or properties) as the LOCATION for the appointment.

    2. Include appointment REMINDERS which also synchronise

    3. INVITE other contacts to appointments

    4. Create RECURRING appointments

    5. Create ALL DAY appointments (actually I think we can already do this)

    6. COLOUR CODE appointments

    7. Attach CONTACT DETAILS for appointment team member

    8. Insert ATTACHMENTS to appointments (brochures, titles, other documents)

    9. Link appointments to FEEDBACK for Vendor Reports

    10. Administrators can OPEN more than 1 calendar across a screen

    11. Have auction times in the calendar like…

    Thanks to everyone who voted on this ticket and shared their thoughts – either here or directly with our product team. The popularity of this ticket is a big reason why we prioritised the Calendar’s launch in AU/NZ.

  4. Attachments on email merges to appear at top of email

    At the moment, attachments on email merges appear at the very bottom of the email and are not easy to see (we've had numerous clients respond asking where the attachment is). This needs to be made more obvious or should appear under the subject line as per regular emails.

    Thanks for voting everyone. We're pleased to announce that there is now a setting that lets you choose to send all email attachments as real files, rather than email links.

  5. View contact ownership in search bar drop down box

    When typing in a contacts name or number in the search bar that turns out to be in there three times for three different agents, its would be great to have an indication of which agent each one belongs to so you dont have to click on them all until you get the right one. Great for sales support when adding in notes to a partucular contact.

  6. Add a secondary person to assign a reminder to.

    Add a secondary person to assign a reminder to. This was for PA's they can get the reminder to follow through on the task but the sales agent can get a reminder also to keep in touch with what's happening with their clients.

  8. When clicking the 'Load More' button in feedback it loads all/more feedback

    It would save us a lot of time if we did not have to click the 'Load More' button a bunch of times in the Feedback section. It would be great if the 'Load More' button loaded all/a lot more feedback.

  9. One page to show alll OFI's - saving time going into individual properties.

    When updating times for your OFI's is so such a time saver to have all your properties and times on one page. Mydesk Top has this facility and is easy to check and verify that all your open times are correct. Also should have day as well as date. Then you can easily see that the dates are correct as you see specific dat ie Wed, Sat etc.

  10. ​​Rex Application for Tablet and Phone Devices

    We understand many of you are wanting Rex to be fully mobile/tablet compatible.

    Please vote and comment on exactly what feature(s) you would find most useful while on the road. Please keep in mind that in order to provide a nice/ simple mobile experience we will not be able to transfer every single feature of Rex to the phone. As such we'd like a comment from you on what you think the most basic requirement of the application would be.

    e.g. "The ability to search across, and easily call any contact in Rex"

    When you get a list of buyers from the feedback on a listing, you can't filter them based on their Interest level from the feedback.

    This would be a great option for filtering your buyers based on that feedback.

  13. Sales admin to be able to view all contract dates in dashboard

    Currently a sales admin needs to change the dashboard user to view each agents contract dates individually - it would be great if a sales admin could have all contract dates for the agents in that office location to appear in their dashboard.

  14. Highlight contact records owned by you when searching

    Highlight/Identify contact records owned by you when completing a contact search.

    This is more for admins who can see multiple/duplicate contact records which have different owners (i.e. in closed office).

    I often struggle to identify which contact records are my own vs someone else's.

    I don't necessarily want to hide other peoples contacts from search, as I do use these from time to time (i.e in relation to a contract), i just want to easily identify which contact records belong to me when searching

    When someone performs a data export from Rex, all super admins should be notified.

    Thanks for the suggestion! We've implemented the ability to track data exports using Other Lists > Audit Logs and filtering "operation" with "Export".


    We may look at implementing notifications in the future, however with this functionality you'll still be able to track who is exporting data from the system.

  16. Add Notes and Activities, not just Feedback, to Vendor Reports to demonstrate to our Vendors

    At the moment, our Vendor Report only contain Feedback not all the activities we have entered into notes etc. How do we demonstrate to our Vendors how hard we are working from them?

  17. Brochure link or weblink for property in SMS alert

    Add the brochure link or website link in the auto SMS property alerts. At the moment it links the address that goes to maps – it would be useful to show the property link so clients can get a visual of the property from their phone.

  18. Report for OAB

    It would be good to see a report focused on OAB's to be able to easily identify:

    1. Market Share and who your competitors are.

    2. OAB's that could be coming out of authority very quickly.

  19. Email "Attached Documents"

    When we send documents via email merge, we're finding some clients are getting confused when they read the heading "Attached Documents" and are interpreting the displayed hyperlinks as a list of 'attachments' rather than links they can actually click on. They then reply to our email saying that there was no document attached.

    Is it possible to change the heading displayed above the document links in email merges to something more meaningful like:
    "Click link(s) below to download your documents".

  20. Ability to save special conditions for easy add to contracts

    If we could when adding contracts under the legal tab have a list of special conditions already filled out such as Build and Pest inspections it would make filling in our contracts faster and would also merge with ADL forms.
