Sales admin to be able to view all contract dates in dashboard
Currently a sales admin needs to change the dashboard user to view each agents contract dates individually - it would be great if a sales admin could have all contract dates for the agents in that office location to appear in their dashboard.
We now support filtering on the Contracts section of the Home Stream. This filter allows you to look at your team, or any combination of users. Find out about more changes we've made as part of our efforts to Simplify contract management in Rex.

This is a feature that needs to be created and implemented ASAP.
At the moment it is labor intensive to create multiple reminders on each listing for contract conditions' so that the Sales Administrator can keep track of all contract status. Not at all an efficient use of time.

Hi Rex, is there any indication on whether this is going to be considered as an inclusion in the system. It seems to have alot of votes.

This feature would be amazing and allow our centralised admin team to control all aspects of contracts and settlement across our multiple offices.

It would be great for the status of ALL contracts to populate to the main admins dashboard, this way the admin doesn't have to switch between user accounts to check which sales are due to become unconditional or settle etc. At offices where agents aren't very tech savvy this would save the admin a lot of time following up on the status of sales with a contract against them.

This is something we definitely need to happen! Some of our sales agents arent tech savvy and as an admin, I manage all of these listings.
I find the reports are not sufficient in being able to monitor this, particularly as with our change over there is so many contracts that have come across that appear on the reports that are not current sales.

To make this work for big offices like ours. I think user groups could be vital in the implementation of this. We have 6 support staff who each have a portfolio of reps they look after

It would be brilliant if administrators could have their stream populated with the status of contracts ie deposit, unconditional etc rather than having to change user to each agent to see the status of their contracts. This would help both admin and agent to keep track of what needs to be done.
An email generated with this information from the dashboard to each agent and admin would also be very helpful. -

I absolutely agree with this! For an admin user to be able to do their job thoroughly, it would be handy to be able to see ALL contracts on their dashboard instead of going between dash boards for different agents.
It is likely that an admin user can miss a contract as that particular agent might only have one or be a 'part time' or 'one off' agent.
This then means that they have to track their contracts elsewhere outside of REX anyway. In which case they are doubling up on tracking contracts. -

Totally agree with the below comment. I don't know any sales reps that manage their due dates themselves. It's the admins that run this part of the software. Did you also know that in Rex, if a rep ticks off these conditions, it removes it from the legal tab and admin is none the wiser? It's a bit issue as sales reps wouldn't understand that they are effecting the admins job. They just think they are ticking off things as they're doing them. However, the issue is, no one knows to then process the next stage in the settlement process. For example - sending the commission invoice!

As the Business and Accounts Manager for 2 offices (under 1 banner) I am staggered that Rex has not implemented or even started to implement the idea that its the admin staff who primarily enter the data that "runs" the agent. At our first meeting of the new financial year I was appalled that I could not get an instant snapshot from my home stream of the total number of current office listing, the number of contracts pending, the total number of unconditional contracts which i might add was available on our previous CRM. Seriously its 2019 I should not have to click 5 times to get a report on each individual item. Admin need to know at a glance which conditions are due today, tomorrow this week and not have to search through each individual file to find answers or take valuable time to record these items in a separate calendar. Rex was clearly built to assist salespeople BUT 90% of top salespeople have admin staff behind them.

I agree with all comments below. We use our administrator to keep check on important dates in the contract process and communicate with solicitors so this function as far as we are concerned is a necessity not option.

Being able to view all current contracts on the dashboard either as a filter by, or under listings tab, is a necessity not an option for admin users. We currently chase all of the conveyancers for approvals, keep an eye on dates etc. at the moment we have to remember to add REX reminders in and its just not efficient if somebody is away for a day or forgets to set a certain reminder date. It would be a lot more time efficient if it happened automatically.

Could it have columns on the screen:
Property, Sales Rep, Accepted Date, Deposit Due Date, Finance Due Date, Special Conditions Due Date, Unconditional Due Date, Settlement Due DateWith overdue dates in red and being able to filter the list order by any of the above columns.
With special conditions, there might be a few so not sure if it would be best to have just a column that says True/False so that you can click to view further details.
If a condition is met, it should be DONE and if a condition date is empty a dash - and if a condition is not required for that contract N/A would be great.
That would mean you can skim through that screen quite quickly and not have to rely on clicking into each property unless something shows up that you need to address.

It would appear similar to https://app.rexsoftware.com/commissions/ but be based on contract events (probably only for active contracts by default). Would allow filtering by contract agent, listing agent, key contract dates, actual event dates, creation of saved filters (to easily pull these back up again) etc. From rows you can mark items as completed, open up contract details, open up contract status dialog, navigate to related listings, contacts etc.

I'm open to suggestions as long as those functions work well. Exports and reports aren't great because they're clunky to use. It needs to be in-app so that any thing you are working on can be updated in the app live rather than working off a report and then having to search that record and update it.
I would still like to see better usability of the dashboard but would like to know more about the interactive list and how it would work

You can achieve groups etc. with saved filters and accomodate whatever workflows you like, as well as accomodating future bulk workflows, exports, reports etc. (depending on suggestions) hence the suggestion of the system list. The dashboard is too inflexible to accomodate
Which i raise again at this point: How does everyone feel about an interactive list for this instead? e.g. https://app.rexsoftware.com/commissions/

I think you need to realise that real estate offices are changing. Within 3-5 years, you will find a lot more Super Offices and far less offices spread over each suburb. With this comes a need for software that as well for admin users as it does for sales reps. We for example have a team of 5 Support Partners (contract admins) and I am the licensee. Each SP looks after 6-12 reps and we're looking to hire another 2 SP's and potentially I'll need a compliance team under me soon too. Our sales reps don't have to track due dates, the SP's chase things up but also remind the reps when things are due.
In fact our SP's and I are on Rex all day. Whereas only a few of our reps are heavy Rex users. Our decisions on what CRM system we use are based on what we get out of it in head office. It's important to have a good system for our reps but its more important that it works for us too.
Having said that, we need more features driven around Admin. We would like to see the contract side of the dashboard show a group of reps that are allocated to that support person.

Alex Babkov, i hear what your saying re tasks and while this would be a big help but i think everyone agrees at the very least all contracts should be able to be seen on an admin users dashboard instead of having to go to the dashboard of every single agent.
