Contract and Contacts
When adding in a contract it would be much easier if the Purchasers details were automatically saved to the listing record.
(Instead of doubling up by adding the Purchaser details into the contract and then saving the contract and re-adding the Purchaser as a related contact).

Hi Everyone,
We have only received a couple of comments on this suggestion since our clarification request. If you can please let us know which below option is preferred we can look closer at implementing this functionality.
1 – after a contract is added there could be an action in the action menu of the contract to attached the purchaser record to the listing record.
2 – upon converting the listing to a ‘sold’ status we could attach the purchaser record to the listing.

Option 1 please. We need to add the purchaser as soon as it is under contract, sold is too late. Thanks

I believe the purchaser should be attached to the listing when entering the contract as purchaser. It's pointless once the file has been settled.
Then, when marking the listing as sold - the contact is attached to the property as the owner - at which point we are prompted to update the contact details of both vendor and purchaser.

Option 1 would be better. When you add the contract details it should then automatically create that contact if not already in the system and then attach as a related contact (purchaser) once the contract is saved.

Could it then also link the property as a related property to the purchasers contact record. Currently there is no option when in the contact screen to see the property as related for a purchaser - it is only tenant and owner - present or past.
It makes it difficult when you are in the contract screen to determine which property the purchaser contact is related to.
