Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

Having the option to save a PDF Letter straight to the documents tab
Currently PDF letters sent via email from REX are only temporary files and disappear after two weeks, however these letters are usually important documents that are referred to at at later date e.g. Settlement Statements. It would be great if there was an option for the PDF letter document to be saved directly to the document tab in REX without us having to download-save-upload to this tab.
128 votesYou can send emails as real attachments, so they are no longer links. These attachments are normal files so they will not expire. While they don't save to the documents tab, this allows you to always access the files if you need.
You can access it under Advanced Settings > Communication Settings by ticking "send as file attachments" https://app.rexsoftware.com/admin/settings/communication_settings

Report for portal errors
It would be great to have a report that would identify if any uploads are not going through to portals instead of having to check each individual listing
70 votesIn our classic reporting centre, under Listings & Uploads we have the Published Listings with Errors report which shows you all the listings that have errors preventing upload to portals.

Mandatory compliance document uploads prior to launching on portals
The following compliance documents must be uploaded into individual designated document upload areas in REX before a listing can be published to the portals - I.e. For NSW:
- Agency Agreement
- Marketing Schedule
- Material Facts Disclosure
- Vendor ID Check
- CMA
- Property Contract
Once all of these compliance documents are uploaded, this would unlock the "publish" button for portal advertising.
The benefit of this functionality would be to ensure that there is a compliance checkpoint prior to the listing being launched live on the web.50 votesHi there. Thanks for sharing your idea. Good news is that Rex already has this feature. You can set documents to be ‘Blocking’ where the listing will not publish unless the documents have been uploaded to the listing record.
This feature is fully customisable. You choose what document types must be present. You can also set the feature to warn instead of block for documents that are desired but not necessarily required.

Add a box for B&P and further boxes for initial deposit and due date
Add additional boxes for B&P due date and initial deposit and due date in the view edit contract screen
44 votesTo add additional conditions to a contract (like building and pest), edit the contract and at the bottom of the window you can add conditions.
Then, when updating the status of a contract, you will be able to check off these conditions on the right along with the deposit and finance conditions.

Allowing listing owners to see tracks allocated by another user on their listing
As we implement a POD system into our office we would like to allow the listing owner (selling agent) to be able to see the tracks that have been allocated to the listing & the contacts. Currently they are able to see what has been done in relation to their listing but for clarity we would love for the listing agent to be able to see the UPCOMING tasks which will be done for the listing. This will prevent any double handling and build trust with our POD member and their agent who they are assisting. If you could please…

This is already possible by setting up Permission Groups for your teams, which will mean everyone in that team should be able to view the tracks that have been applied on listings within their team. I've created a request with our support team to reach out in case you need some help getting this set up.

Bring up all relevant contacts in Feedback
Can you please see attached – the issue we are having is that if you type in smith in the feedback section why can it not bring up all names with a Smith in it. This is important in avoiding duplicates because the first name may be saved under something different for example making a new contact “will smith” when there is already a “bill smith” or another example is if ‘bill smith” came to the open home but when we search ‘smith’ his name doesn’t come up but maybe his wife’s name ‘Sarah smith’ is already in the system…

Contact Search in Feedback OPtions
When entering contacts in via Feedback for Enquiry & OFI , it would be great if you could enter the email/mobile to search rather than just a name. This ability would also alleviate some duplicate records.

Send Automated Thank you text to Open Home attendees that use QR code to sign in
For all attendees that have attended open and scanned the QR code should have an automated thank you for attending Open text sent to them.

This can be configured in Settings > Advanced Settings > Open Homes. It also works for both attendees who check in via QR code and through Pocket Kiosk.

Selling Details - Contract Fields
It would be great if Rex can add some fields in the Selling Details:
- Building and Pest Due Date
- Initial deposit Due Date (need to be about to generate these in reportsThe conditions section - would be great to have the standard few conditions so we can select them if required.

Mass Action to Remove/Unsubscribe a Contact to Multiple Mailing List
As mentioned, if we could have a mass action button that we can trigger or use to remove or unsubscribe a contact from multiple mailing lists at once. Perhaps a "Select All" function to unsubscribe them all at once?
12 votesRex CRM already has the ability to mass add and remove mailing lists from multiple contacts. Go to the Contacts list, make a selection and go to Mass Actions on the top bar. Here you will be able to add/remove mailing lists.

add emoji to text messages
to make text messages more eye catching, can you add emoji options to text messages?
9 votesYou can insert emoji into SMS today. To insert you can use your operating system’s built-in emoji picker when focusing on a text field. On Windows 10, hit “Win” and “;” at the same time. On Mac, the shortcut is “Command-Control-Space”.
You should also be able to do the same in Pocket via the iOS/Android keyboard.

Open homes in pocket - documents
It would be good for open homes in pocket to let you know who has already been sent documents for a property in the list of attendees. Homepass already has this feature, it just says ‘docs sent’ next to the persons name. It would also be good to have a separate documents section just for documents that can be sent from an open home in pocket. This way personal documents for a listing (agency agreement, rates notices, id documents, etc) can’t be accidentally selected at an open home from the list of documents attached to the listing.
9 votesWith the new Open Homes experience in Pocket documents will be sent to attendees at the same time as you are checking them in (without needing any additional taps!). With this, any guests that are checked in should have already have the documents, unless you opted out of sending while checking them in (even though it doesn’t explicitly say so in the attendee list).
You are also able to mark documents as “available in Pocket” from the listing record in Rex. This will make them available for sending from the attendee screen.

It would be handy to be able to automate texts,emails
Automate the tracks, to be able to set up an automated track to nurture clients through each step of the process.Combination of texts (originating from senders number) and emails ,letters and phone call reminders.
This will help solve the problem of incomplete tasks filling ones dashboard especially when agents are on holidays etc.
This would allow more touch points with clients and for an agent to manage a larger seller and buyer base.

Include the stream in the merge during a de-duplication process
Its fantastic to have the merging abilities for Contacts, but our sales partners are now wondering why the streams are not being merged as part of the process.
Are we able to have this in Rex please?

Thank you for taking the time to make this suggestion. It is already possible to include emojis in your correspondence. You can include them by using your computer’s in-built emoji picker. This is accessible via windows + . on Windows, and cmd + control + space on macOS.
Including gifs is however not something natively supported by operating systems, browsers or Rex. Support for gifs is therefore difficult to implement from a technical perspective. It is not something we are looking to support at the moment.

Lead enters automatically as an Enquiry on a Listing
Leads are enquiries so to have them be marked automatically as one so they appear on the vendor report instead of manually doing it every time.

Could you please add a "Friends" category to the "Related Contacts" section. So that it appears in the pull down menu.
4 votesYou have the ability to create custom relationship types. You can even create ones that have the same functionality as our defaults (so contracts can automatically be pre-filled in common workflows)!

Pop up reminder for diary events so you were never late.
The last few we used have a reminder pop up on the screen for diary events so you were never late. You could have it pop up 10minutes thru to 2 hours before depending on how far away you appointment was.
We would never miss an appointment this way.4 votesThank you for the suggestion. This is currently achievable using our two-way sync with Outlook or Gmail. You can setup pop-up reminders on your laptop and phone by using their calendars synced with Rex.

Add 'Tenant' to related contact on Listing
Currently a 'Tenant' can be added as a related contact for a 'Property' but cannot be reflected on the 'Listing' page.
Given that they are a related contact IMO, and every inspection (for sales) requires contact with them, I would find it a lot easier if their details were accessible from the 'Listing' screen.
(as a pose to clicking through to the 'Property' screen, where they are current available).

Key Register Shortcut
Implement a shortcut to sign a key in/out by key number without navigating to the property/listing first. Save our receptionists so much time!
Potentially add the shortcut to the plus + symbol by the search bar.
4 votesThanks for the suggestion! You can search for a key by its number/label using the global search in the top navigation bar. This will take you directly to the listing where you can check it in/out.
While you still do need to go to the listing, it should save you have to find and search the listing address!
