Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Allow Mass SMS to have web or video links

    How can a CRM not support weblinks in Mass SMS's. Whats the purpose of a CRM if you cannot mass communicate with your clients or buyers via sms with video or ebook links

    There are no restrictions in Rex CRM on sending links within SMS content. Whether a link appears clickable on a recipients phone is entirely determined by iOS/Android. Phones will factor in message history with the recipient, message content and whether the link has been clicked on before. Rex CRM has no control over whether these links appear clickable or not - it is determined entirely by the recipient's device.

  2. Select or Deselect all - add select current page

    REX needs an option other than 'select' / 'deselect all' when in a contact group. if an additional option like 'select current page' was added so grouping larger volumes into mailing lists and system tags could be more efficiently executed, instead of heavy filtering and individually clicking records.

  3. Allowing listing owners to see tracks allocated by another user on their listing

    As we implement a POD system into our office we would like to allow the listing owner (selling agent) to be able to see the tracks that have been allocated to the listing & the contacts. Currently they are able to see what has been done in relation to their listing but for clarity we would love for the listing agent to be able to see the UPCOMING tasks which will be done for the listing. This will prevent any double handling and build trust with our POD member and their agent who they are assisting. If you could please…

    Thanks for the submission! This is already possible by setting up Permission Groups for your teams, which will mean everyone in that team should be able to view the tracks that have been applied on listings within their team. I've created a request with our support team to reach out in case you need some help getting this set up.

    Thank you for taking the time to make this suggestion. It is already possible to include emojis in your correspondence. You can include them by using your computer’s in-built emoji picker. This is accessible via windows + . on Windows, and cmd + control + space on macOS.

    Including gifs is however not something natively supported by operating systems, browsers or Rex. Support for gifs is therefore difficult to implement from a technical perspective. It is not something we are looking to support at the moment.

  5. Send Automated Thank you text to Open Home attendees that use QR code to sign in

    For all attendees that have attended open and scanned the QR code should have an automated thank you for attending Open text sent to them.

    Thank you for the suggestion. It is already possible to send automated emails and text messages to open home attendees.

    This can be configured in Settings > Advanced Settings > Open Homes. It also works for both attendees who check in via QR code and through Pocket Kiosk.

  6. Pop up reminder for diary events so you were never late.

    The last few we used have a reminder pop up on the screen for diary events so you were never late. You could have it pop up 10minutes thru to 2 hours before depending on how far away you appointment was.
    We would never miss an appointment this way.

  7. Delete a few leads as a mass function

    When we receive leads, we also receive messages that is not really leads. We would like to have a feature that can delete those leads at once. Could you please look into it please? Thank you

    Thanks for the suggestion. Fortunately, you can currently delete multiple leads at once. From the leads list, select any number of leads, click “Mass Actions” and select “Change Record States”. From there, you can choose to complete them, make them all active or trash them. See screenshot for a demonstration.

    We do recognise this is a very unintuitive system. We currently are underway on work to overhaul the leads experience. We will keep you posted on our progress.

  8. Format a number value using "K" (Input = 600k, Rex converts to 600,000)

    When inputting a numeric value in Rex with the letter "K" on the end of the value, multiply the value by 1,000.

    Example:
    User types 600k as the offer amount. Rex converts the input to £600,000.

  9. Lead enters automatically as an Enquiry on a Listing

    Leads are enquiries so to have them be marked automatically as one so they appear on the vendor report instead of manually doing it every time.

  10. Automatic response for enquires that come through from REA & Domain

    We would like to be able to set up an automatic email response for enquires that come through from REA/Domain etc.
    We would like to send something that tells them about inspecting renting properties due to the volume of enquires that people send through.

  12. Open homes in pocket - documents

    It would be good for open homes in pocket to let you know who has already been sent documents for a property in the list of attendees. Homepass already has this feature, it just says ‘docs sent’ next to the persons name. It would also be good to have a separate documents section just for documents that can be sent from an open home in pocket. This way personal documents for a listing (agency agreement, rates notices, id documents, etc) can’t be accidentally selected at an open home from the list of documents attached to the listing.

    With the new Open Homes experience in Pocket documents will be sent to attendees at the same time as you are checking them in (without needing any additional taps!). With this, any guests that are checked in should have already have the documents, unless you opted out of sending while checking them in (even though it doesn’t explicitly say so in the attendee list).

    You are also able to mark documents as “available in Pocket” from the listing record in Rex. This will make them available for sending from the attendee screen.

  13. Required Documents should require listing authority

    As it is a legal requirement to have a valid listing authority (PO Form 6 in QLD) I don't understand why this is not in the dropdown menu as a selection for the Required Documents

    As a matter of urgency, would you please add this to the dropdown menu and require the listing authority to be uploaded to REX prior to Publishing to Portals?

  14. Key Register Shortcut

    Implement a shortcut to sign a key in/out by key number without navigating to the property/listing first. Save our receptionists so much time!

    Potentially add the shortcut to the plus + symbol by the search bar.

    Thanks for the suggestion! You can search for a key by its number/label using the global search in the top navigation bar. This will take you directly to the listing where you can check it in/out.


    While you still do need to go to the listing, it should save you have to find and search the listing address!

    You can insert emoji into SMS today. To insert you can use your operating system’s built-in emoji picker when focusing on a text field. On Windows 10, hit “Win” and “;” at the same time. On Mac, the shortcut is “Command-Control-Space”.

    You should also be able to do the same in Pocket via the iOS/Android keyboard.

  16. Send brochure to Open Home Attendee - making intro email/SMS editable

    Your system of sending a brochure to Open Home attendees is brilliant and very easy to deliver.
    Our competitors in town are sending personalised text or emails to attendees as they are leaving the open home, which we feel is also a nice touch.
    For us, it would be an ideal combo to not only send the brochure, but to also personalise the email/SMS message that goes with it.
    (I understand that at this stage it is a bog standard message that cant be edited.)
    Hopefully you can help us with our request.

  17. Mandatory compliance document uploads prior to launching on portals

    The following compliance documents must be uploaded into individual designated document upload areas in REX before a listing can be published to the portals - I.e. For NSW:

    1. Agency Agreement
    2. Marketing Schedule
    3. Material Facts Disclosure
    4. Vendor ID Check
    5. CMA
    6. Property Contract

    Once all of these compliance documents are uploaded, this would unlock the "publish" button for portal advertising.
    The benefit of this functionality would be to ensure that there is a compliance checkpoint prior to the listing being launched live on the web.

    Hi there.  Thanks for sharing your idea.  Good news is that Rex already has this feature.  You can set documents to be ‘Blocking’ where the listing will not publish unless the documents have been uploaded to the listing record.


    This feature is fully customisable.  You choose what document types must be present.  You can also set the feature to warn instead of block for documents that are desired but not necessarily required.

  18. Add 'Tenant' to related contact on Listing

    Currently a 'Tenant' can be added as a related contact for a 'Property' but cannot be reflected on the 'Listing' page.

    Given that they are a related contact IMO, and every inspection (for sales) requires contact with them, I would find it a lot easier if their details were accessible from the 'Listing' screen.

    (as a pose to clicking through to the 'Property' screen, where they are current available).

  19. Multiple agents receiving the one lead

    Hi guys,
    Just a quick one.....is there the ability for two agents (we work as a team) to receive leads via Rex? When someone enquires on a property via online portals (realestate.com.au, domain etc) I receive an email via outlook but I don't receive it in Rex - my colleague is the only one who receives the leads for our joint listings in Rex. Therefore would love to receive leads on joint listings. Look forward to hearing from you.

    A lead can only be assigned to one user at a time — however you are able to view your Team Leads from the leads menu. This will show any leads that are assigned to users within your Permission Group.


    Permission Groups can be set up under Settings > Users and Security > Permissions Groups.


    If you have both agents in the same permission group then they will both be able to see each others leads under the Team Leads inbox.

  20. Adding attendee notes for open homes

    When using Pocket Kiosk App at open homes to register attendees - add an option to add notes to the attendee details, sync this information to contact. Allows the agent to make important notes on the visitor on the run in the same app. Allow an edit feature in the notes.

    When checking in attendees at an open home yourself your best option is to use the Open Homes feature in Pocket, rather than using Kiosk. This will let you add a note to an attendee, send listing documents with a single tap, log partner details, etc. Kiosk is designed for attendees to self-check in and so has limited access to your database and no actions available.
