Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Include 'Owners' & 'Tenants' column in property view

    Add 'owner' & 'tenant' column to 'View Properties' page.
    Do this via the top right hand side drop down menu and include both and 'owner' & 'tenant' giving each a separate check box in the drop down menu. Menu shown in attached image.

    This is beneficial to prospecting.

  2. New columns for 'sold properties' view

    It would be great to have a new view for 'sold properties'. We would like the most recent sale date to pull through to this view.

    We would also like these additional columns to be added to the view:
    Address
    Sold price
    Sold Date
    Contract Agent (selling agent)
    Most recent 'past owner'
    Current owner

    I have attached a screen shot from RP Data and also an old CRM system we used - their formats are very easy to use.

    The ability to refine and have a list that can be sorted by sale date, price and owner name would be…

  3. Street List like the building feature

    Can you create the feature much like the 'building option' that allows an overview of the street (what has sold/average price/bed bath car etc? It would be amazing to be able to have an overview of the entire street. Thanks

  4. Clearer OFI Attendee Information

    Could the number of those which have requested and been sent a Contract (out of all which have attended) be displayed with the numbers as above. So now the display for me on Sunday would be 11/31/8 which would tell me that 11 groups attended on Sunday, total attendances: 31 and, of the 31, 8 have taken a Contract. And could the people that have taken a contract, have a flag or some sort of recognition next to their name.

  5. Display small blue Ownership logo next to your properties (same as contacts)

    When you search contacts, there is a little blue headshot next to contacts if you are the owner of the contact. This helps differentiate between contacts you own and contacts someone else in the office owns. This is a very useful feature.

    This feature would be great if also applied to when you search properties. At the moment, you dont know at a glance when typing into the search bar which property record is yours and which belongs to a different staff member

  6. email multiple property owners

    If there are multiple owners to one property, I would like to be able to email them all as main recipients without having to search for their email and CC them.

  7. Showing more information in the property lists for commercial agents

    When we click on listings and see the list of properties for rent and for sale - can we have the NLA and land size and the actual price rather than the "match price" as an option to also show? This would be very useful for all commercial agents.

  8. Tick boxes

    Tick box list for the property features rather then adding one at a time then it going back to the top of the list each time... Some people do not like typing each feature each time. It's alot easier if you could go alphabetically and tick which ones you want to add.

  9. Show Property Owners under my properties

    when I filter properties by record owner ie: me the columns show me as the owner, which I already know. I would like to see the actual owners of the property.

  11. Chronological order for property history

    On the property record instead of showing the stages in chronological date order it shows most recent entry – even if it is a historical entry.
    For companies such as ours and many others I would assume that they are trying to create one database and would therefore be merging historical data into REX it is becoming very confusing and messy.
    Is there a way that the system can automatically sort in chronological order based on most recent status date and not entry date as this would make a lot more sense to the user and make searching a lot…

  12. Have an Option to Display 'Business Name' When Viewing Properties.

    When a business is entered in the property section there is currently no way to view the business name without opening the property, this makes it difficult to find a specific business given that only the addresses can be seen when scrolling through.

  13. Able to create an Estate in REX and attach listings/properties to it like we do with Buildings

    Just like a building, it would be great to be able to make an Estate. The reasoning for this is, in our agency we deal with a fair few Industrial Estates and we find that if we were to create the Estate as a building, REX won't allow us to attached properties/listings in that Estate because the building(Estate) needs an address. So clearly this is fine for buildings because the only thing that changes is the Suite or level. With an Estate though each address number is different.

  14. Colour Code Current Listings to differentiate it from the Property page.

    It is easy to add data to a property page instead of a current listing page. If current listings were a different colour this wouldn't happen.

  15. Search by key in Property rather than Listing

    Cannot do a key search or report when key is set to property rather than listing. Even though the key details will show on the listing (when added to a property), it won't show in report.

    I would appreciate this to be resolved :-)

  16. Properties

    Properties and Listings. All new agents starting with us seem to end up double or triple listing property because the system allows this. I think it would be awesome if a simple pop-up that said "this property is already listed do you want to go to the listing" would prevent this from happening. It is frustrating when a property gets listed multiple times and then needs to be archived.

  17. Legal details in property eg LOT and DP

    It would be good to have the legal details on the property rather than just the listing - Lot # DP# and legal description -

  18. additional fields when selling land only

    When selling land there are a few more fields that would be required to know, ie. Bush fire attack levels, Noise package or Quiet house design package requirements, LDP or DAP applicable and requirements imposed/ required, easement type and location etc.

    custom tabs allow for this however as a standard subset it may be a good add in.

  19. Creating proposed budgets for properties BEFORE they are listed.

    At the moment you can only enter "financial mode" on a listing which means you cannot attach any sort of proposed budget to a potential listing - this must be done externally from REX - which means you create it somewhere, then if/when the property lists you need to re-create it in VPA to be able to send out a Funds Request.
    I think it would be very helpful to be able to create potential budgets in Property Mode so when you list they are there ready.

  20. Having the ability to include a hyperlink to a property or contact. or even better being able to link dropbox files to a property.

    having the ability to attach a hyperlink against a property. or even better being able to integrate Dropbox files against a property and Contact. That way don't have to store files on a property or contact can just link to dropbox files.
