Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Insert Merge Tag for sales person headshot

    Along with having the contextual Merge tags for letters & emails (eg contact details etc) it would be great if there was the option to also add one that inserts the sales persons headshot. Obviously the sales persons headshot is already uploaded into Rex, so its stored online.

  2. Merge 'regarding' listing data into contact module share a listing sms feature

    Hi there.

    I want there to be more merge tags added in the contact module for SMS templates for sharing a listing. Like some of the merge tags that are in the property module, but of course the property module doesn't show up when sharing a listing. When sharing a listing from the pocket app by SMS you can select the 'regarding' property of the listing that you are sharing. I want to be able to implement a merge tag for 1) the regarding property listing's address, and 2) the marketable sharing e-brochure link for that regarding property listing, also.

  3. Abililty to embed Fields in subject line of email template

    Zoho have a great feature that lets you embed you fields (system & custom) into the subject line of your template emails.

    Example Subject Lines

    "CONTACT NAME, here is the file i spoke about"

    "Open Home confirmation for PROPERTY NAME"

    "Thank-you for your enquiry about PROPERTY NAME"

  4. Reprint letters/resend emails that have already been sent

    At the moment if you want to resend or reprint a letter/email merge you've already sent you have to recreate it. It would be good if there was a print duplicate or resend button to make the process less manual.

  5. Settlement Statement Merge Field

    The ability to customise the {{settlementstatementtable}} merge field would be great.
    If we could have all the fields as individual entries, clients would be able to customise settlement statement letters to suit their office. Currently the fields in the {{settlementstatementtable} are not available individually.

  6. Marketing Credit usage when sending SMS merge to Contact

    When sending a bulk SMS you can see how many SMS your campaign will cost. But when you send an SMS from a record, there is no indication of credits used.

  7. Store price history so Old Price and New Price can be shown on emails

    Capture old price so that it can be merged into emails. This is important for price update emails so that we can include the old price and new price.

  8. Date examples next to merge selections

    To make the process a little quicker, could we have an example next to each merge field selection when trying to create a new template. Or have selections where it shows the whole date?

  11. Being able to add additional contacts to merge fields ie Letters and Emails etc

    Example:
    I have entered in the contacts separately and linked them (as you at REX designed it) as: Contact 1 - Jarod Joseph and Contact 2 - Holly Joseph
    I don’t want them linked as Contact 1 - Jarod Joseph & Holly Joseph

    I understand that is the only way at the moment to do a merge – and is what we are having to do at the moment – however once you do this, it voids the rest of the contact card ie:

    • The social tab for Facebook and linked in (as it wont search for the multiple names…

    To enable a bulk email or sms to be sent to contacts with a merged property address or date into the body of the text or email.
