Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Send email to agency when marketing credit balance gets low

    We need to be able to check the balance of our marketing credits, perhaps an email notification to a specific user when the balance is low.

  3. Be able to sort contacts by their residential suburb

    We recently had a staff member leave and wanted to reallocate their contact ownership to remaining sales staff but based on their residential suburb. Anyone in Sales knows that generally every person has their own suburbs that they are the "specialists" in and that's how I wanted to allocate these contacts. I found a way around it, but it was very difficult and time consuming. And what if you want to contact everyone in a particular suburb to let them know about a listing or sale? I'm not sure why the residential address is a text box and not separate…

  4. Warning message to appear when entering an OFI in the past

    Perhaps an error/notification message could appear if you accidentally enter an OFI in the past. If it was intentional you can accept the message and if not, then at least you are made aware of your error.

  5. Improve Sales Progression side of Rex

    I have noticed a few things as a sales progressor that i feel need improve and certainly being made easier.
    1. When adding split chains having the option to add a branch off and end the chain on one split and not another.
    2. Be able to have a different solicitor acting for a client for their sale and their purchase.
    3. To be able to add broker details for the rest of the chain if needed not just a branch sale.

  7. Notifications Sent To Record Owner When Someone Else Makes A Change

    It would be really great if notifications such as an email were sent to the record owner when someone else makes a change to their records.
    I am the office manager who makes a lot of changes/additions on behalf of the agents and how am I to know that they know the changes have been made?

  8. Suburb or Agent Dependant Stocklists

    Could you please implement a category of suburb or agent to the stocklists so that users are able to create stocklists for clients to browse through their individual listings in that suburb or for that agent without showing all listings for the entire agency. This would be healful for individual agents as well as clients looking in particular suburbs or areas. Even an option to select the listings which display and those that don't would work so that individual agents can select their listinsg or those that pertain to a particular suburb. Thank you,

  9. Ability to Lock out another user when updating a record

    We've run into an issue a fair few times where more than one user is accessing & updating the same record.

    When one person clicks save, it will update for them - but when the other clicks save, it overwrites the first person's changes.

    It would be great to to lock other users out or provide read-only access when another user is already viewing/updating the record.

  11. Pocket - Open Home User Ease

    Hi
    We are a new office to REX coming from using Homepass and there are some minor changes that would make a HUGE difference to the usability of the open house section of pocket if you were open to it

    1) when a buyer attends a property a history of properties they have seen is visible as well as how many times they have attended the particular open home

    2) if the attendees could show in a list in date order when looking at the OFI rather then a click in list

  12. View your Own Database in Pocket

    It's a little unnecessary for me to be able to view all other users data in the Pocket Application, and would be a little easier to navigate if there was a setting which could be put in place to only show user data belonging to the currently signed-in user.

    This could potentially be set up in the Settings menu, with a toggle to select:
    -My Data
    -Entire Agency Database

    Obviously this would only apply to users with higher levels of privileges (e.g. those that can view the entire agency's database), however, would be an extremely handy tool.

  13. Property and Contact Links should open in new tab on 'ctrl + click' - bypass menu

    When clicking on the Hyperlinked name of a Contact or property, allow the user to bypass the pop up menu and go directly to the property or contact page when using 'control + click' on Windows or 'Apple-key + click' on a Mac. Right click can work as well.

    Image part 1: Shows the current app behaviour and the pop up context menu that will be bypassed if a user ctrl + clicks the link.
    Image part 2: shows the new behaviour where the link opens straight away in a new tab/window on ctrl + click.

  14. Approve or deny features in a quicker manner

    Votes being returned or more votes given per user given the time it takes to approve or deny features. Some have over 100 votes and are over 18 months old yet the feature has not been approved for development or denied for development so peoples votes are just siitting idle.

  16. call app selection from pocket app

    we use 3CX calling app to allow call recording for quality control, it would be great if we could select which phone app to use when making calls from pocket. currently it uses the default phone app so it would be great if that could be an option that before making the call the app asks which phone app you would like to use to make the call. (I have discovered a work around however its not ideal - change the default phone app prior to making calls and revert back when finished)

  17. Different User Ability Levels

    Rex University shows all users as at a Learner stage, which is clearly inaccurate. It would assist Super Admin users if there were different levels, such as Learner, Basic, Intermediate, Rexpert etc. This would be particularly helpful for an Admin to understand the amount of time their staff are spending on the system and the amount of training they have done. As a tracking tool, a staff member that undertakes a lot of merge activity, inputting of notes and training, would be upskilled from Learner.   19. Marketing Schedule to have Invoiced and Uninvoiced options separated

    Please have Invoicecd/Unvoiced as separated categories when generating a Marketing Schedule
    Currently the client is receiving Marketing Schedules with items previously paid for.
    The invoice goes over 2 pages and looks unprofessional. The client only wants to see what the new Schedule is, not previous ones.

    Insert a tick box to attach E-brochure under the property selection field in merge emails to clients. this would avoid having to go to the property id to send brochure. Would be good to be able to put in multiple properties and attach respective brochures
