Making the stream more intuitive
As a sales person, when I go into a contact, it would be great if the important info was front and centre.
Yes, I understand I can type out a note and pin it to the top of the stream however there's only 3 things I'm really interested in.
1. Did someone within my company sell this person a home
2. Did they buy a home from us
3. Have we done an appraisal at their place
All of these things are entered into REX in other places so it would be really cool if the database was able to intuitively put the key info I want at the top of the stream, as soon as I go into the contact (both for the desktop and the app).
Imagine going into a contact and instantly seeing at the top of the stream;
"{CONTACT} has a current appraisal on {ADDRESS}. The last activity with {CONTACT} was by {AGENT} {NUMBER OF MONTHS AGO}".
and/or
"{CONTACT} purchased {ADDRESS} from {AGENT} on {DATE OF SETTLEMENT}"
and/or
"{CONTACT} sold {ADDRESS} from {AGENT} on {DATE OF SETTLEMENT}"
This would save time and make the whole user experience for REX more enjoyable.

Definitely agree that the stream needs to be more intuitive or have some capability for each agency to customise by deciding on what they want to bring to the surface or hide.
The issue we are having is that the match alerts clutters up the entire stream so any important stream notes are lost in the masses of email notification. Would be great if this could be switched or provide capability on what streams to display. -

Hi Alex, I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed however I just jumped on and I can't find "smart categories" anywhere. If this function is doing the job - awesome!! Would you consider moving it to make it "front and centre"?

In the short term, I THINK the smart categories achieve part of what youre after without specifics as to the timing of the interactions (with the exception of appraisals)

Thanks Alex, glad you liked the idea. The key point is having the "big 3" things that I want to know as a sales person front and centre. So either at the top of the stream or to the right bar isn't important (as long as its on both the app and desktop). My though was the top of the stream simply because that's front and centre, and straight where the eye goes as soon as you open up the contact.

Not a bad idea, but probably not something that belongs in the stream which is a time based list of events. Maybe something that should be getting raised in the right bar with other relationships.
