I personally love the stepthrough for reminders.
What would be fantastic would be once you're in the stepthrough, either at the bottom of the stepthrough underneath where you would tick off the task, or within the Stream tab instead of the Reminders tab, the button to add a Reminder instead of a note so from the one screen you can add a follow up reminder.

Currently to do so it's a case of clicking out of the stream and then into the Reminders to then add a reminder and select the date for follow-up.

With the functionality of an "Add Reminder" button on the Stream view or preferably at the bottom of the screen in the Reminder Stepthrough, you wouldn't need to go to the Reminders tab as there should usually only be one "Due" or "Overdue" reminder.
