Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Change letter margin measurements from pixels to milimeters/centimeters

    It would be great if the letter margin measurements could be measured in millimeters or centimeters as opposed to pixels.

  2. Sales Advice - Remove commission

    I would like to be able to add or remove a commission amount on a sales advice.

    Thanks for the suggestion. There is now an option when generating a sales advice as to whether you want to include the commission details or not. Additionally, you can choose include or not include the buyer’s and purchaser’s details.

  3. Filter listings by last sale date

    I would be great to filter listings by the sale date. Ideal for anniversaries.

    Hi Michael,

    Whilst you can’t filter from the properties screen, you can filter from the ‘sold listings’ screen by sold date. You can then use the ‘go to related function’ to view all purchasers of those listings.

    Should you require further help with this, please contact the support team. They will be more than happy to walk you through this.

  4. Brochure link or weblink for property in SMS alert

    Add the brochure link or website link in the auto SMS property alerts. At the moment it links the address that goes to maps – it would be useful to show the property link so clients can get a visual of the property from their phone.

  5. Report for OAB

    It would be good to see a report focused on OAB's to be able to easily identify:

    1. Market Share and who your competitors are.

    2. OAB's that could be coming out of authority very quickly.

  6. Can you make the feedback box bigger than 2 lines?

    When you add feeback, the little box where you actually type the feedback in is so small it's a pain when you are adding feedback for multiple contacts that have come through an open home, or just a big chunk of feedback.

  8. Project Marketing Property and Listing Modules

    To work the same way as 1 building and multiple tenancies. Can be used for residential subdivisions, etc.

  9. Feeback type

    We use Rex for both Sale and Rental properties.

    When adding Feedback under a property the only option under the Feedback Type drop down box for an inspection is 'Buyer Inspection'.

    Can you please add 'Tenant Inspection'?

  10. Email Dropbox attaching to property

    Can the emails sent to your dropbox account be able to be attached to the listing and not need a contact to be filed correctly, if the property name and/or RX# be in the subject line of the email

  11. Show contract/acceptance date on Sales Advice

    We can enter the unconditional date and the settlement date, but given most conditions are within a certain time frame from acceptance it would be great to have it on the Sales Advice.

    We have now updated the Sales Advise to include special conditions and their due dates (this is at the bottom of the sales advice).

  13. Easier to click properties in a match profile

    Currently when you email a list of properties to a buyer, the only way they can see the e-brochure of an individual property is to click "read more"
    It would be good if the buyer could also click the main photo and/or the address to get through to the e-brochure. I've had more than a few buyers not understand that they need to click "read more"

    We have updated the base match email template so that now the listing title and the listing image links through to the e-brochure. You can find this template here:

    Advanced HTML Templates > Match Emails > Rex Match Email Template

    If you want to create your own custom templates for match emails, we would suggest duplicating this template first.

  14. Creating a property and marking it as an OAB and automatically showing up on nearby (say 500m or by postcode) property entries you have.

    When you enter an OAB at the moment it only shows up on the property you entered it in to. Sometimes the property that is listed is already in your database. If you see a property has gone on the market you should be able to create a new property if needed (or edit an existing one) and mark it as a OAB. Then that would integrate with other listings (via postcode or distance on google map) an add to the OAB tab automtically for all properties in the area. You can also set reminders to follow up after 2-3…

  15. Duplicate a page when creating brochures etc

    When creating a brochure it would be helpful to have the ability to duplicate a page within that brochure so time is not wasted having to place items that will need to appear again in the exact same places.

  16. Tracks - ordering/numbering tasks that are on the same day

    Currently, there is no way of ordering tasks which are due on the same day. They appear in a random order. We've had to resort back to paper checklists to do things in order.

  17. Add Lifestyle to 'Property Type' drop down menu

    Under 'Property Type' can you please add 'Lifestyle' to the drop down menu, we use this category frequently in our listings and it is important for our feeds to other portals.

  18. Merge Event Details to SMS/Emails

    I would like to create an email/sms template to notify vendors and prospective buyers of OFI times, however the event details are not a merge field. Can you please include event details as a merge item for sms and email templates.

    Good news: we have recently added extra merge tags to accommodate this.

    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home date
    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home time
    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home agent
    Listing (Marketing) > Upcoming open homes (table of all upcoming open homes)

  19. Pocket agenda for filtered contacts

    After completing a filter search for contacts, we would like to be able to print a pocket agenda to make calling them easier. Much like you can when you have reminders due. Exporting them into an excel list is very messy.

  20. How about an App for Home Opens - so that you can have your ipad sitting on the table instead of a visitor book, and the information entered

    An ipad App for Home Opens - the punters enter their details themselves, including email addresses and approval to be contacted on a regular basis ( we would probably offer a prize to incentivise them ). The App should seamlessly transfer the information into Rex later when you log in.
