Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

Every User to have access to the demo account from the HELP menu inside rex
As a user trying to get to know the system it would be great to be able to go and test how something works before you do it live. Particularly in the case of Trust Accounting as this module leaves footprints and doesn't have an extensive help and training video series so you are left guessing a lot of the time.

Edit the REX Newsletter Template
It would be good to be able to edit portions of the REX Newsletter Template, mainly contact details so you could send a newsletter out generically from the office or from a specific agent. At the moment we can only edit colours and fonts which is great for getting company branding right, but then we have not choice over the other details that are added. I would like to be able to choose from a drop down menu what item appears where ie office name or agents name, office details or agents details

MORE THAN ONE ACCEPTED CONTRACT
In a lot of instances you will have more than one party with an accepted offer on a property and they will enter a contract race.
We need the ability in the system to have more than one offer in acceptance and also to have a live commission sheet for each.
We only mark the offer as fallen once the winner goes unconditional.27 votesHi there,
This isn’t something we’re likely to support in the near future.
You could theoretically achieve this currently by performing the following steps:
1. Mark the currently active contract as fallen.
2. Mark the backup contract as accepted (not backup).
3. Create a commission worksheet for the backup contract.
4. Do the reverse of steps 1 and 2 (reactive the orignial contract).The steps above allow you to create a commission worksheet for your backup contract which can then be accessed and modified using the “View Past Worksheets” button on the commission screen.

An easy `Send to All ` button
To be able to simply tag a property to be sent to all contact regardless of the search criteria, with a easy
Send to All

Combine sales advice & commission worksheet
It would be excellent if we had the option to print the sales advice and commission worksheet together on 1 page, at the moment we have to sort of tear off the commission worksheet and staple it to the bottom of sales advice for all the information to be neatly on the front of our contract folders.
12 votesThanks for the suggestion. The effort required to synchronise these flows together is too large to consider at the current point in time. There is however a release coming soon which will heavily optimise the process of sending sales advices/memos.

Are we able to place a + sign on the Bedrooms and bathroom to indicate a study or a powder room please?
I know that rex only accepts whole numbers, if we can use a + sign that would indicate there is more than the whole number.
Thank you.3 votesAs mentioned unfortunately the portals wouldn’t support this. You can however add a study as a feature on a residential property which should be displayed appropriately on portals.

Financial Reports
We need the ability to have a sales report that shows within a specified date range
- All new deals (contracts)
- Deposits taken
- Exchanged (unconditional) properties
- Settled (released) properties
The report needs to show totals of sale prices and commission as well as the listing and selling agent initials.
The report should also move the property to its applicable area so it only appears once in the stage it is in (whatever its latest status is within the date range)
There also needs to be on the pending settlement report an area that shows the amount of…45 votesAs mentioned below, these are available as separate reports.

Adding OFI to the Feedback type in the individual client (currently is Offer, Buyer Inspection and Enquiry)
Instead of going into the property and adding the individual in can it be done by the going into the client and then adding it as an OFI.

We need the ability in the word processing area to know if the a letter/document is running over onto a second page - basically like in word
There is no way when you create a letter/document to know when the text goes onto a second page etc....you cannot see this until you download the document. At this point if it has gone over and you need to amend you have to create the document and start again and this process goes on and on until you get the formatting correct.
It would be a lot easier to view the document like you can in Microsoft word so you can see when the text moves to the next page etc.44 votesHi Guys,
We barely ever say entirely no to features, but this one is technically impossible for us to implement.
A very large number of factors go in to determining whether a letter will go over on to multiple pages (going from simplest to most complicated):
- Page Margins.
- Line Height.
- Font Height / height of individual characters which varies from font to font.
- Manual Page Breaks injected by you.
- The way that a font is rendered on your operating system.
The way that microsoft word – a tool with millions of lines of code (built exclusively for word processing) is written – is very different to the way that our web based editor is written and its capabilities are very different to the ones that we have access to.
Unfortunately without actually rendering the letter we don’t have any idea how many pages long it will be.

Ability to copy match profile details from one related contact to another
It would be great to have a way of copying the match profile info from one contact to another. For example, I've just added John Smith and put in all match profile info like suburbs, bedrooms, bathrooms etc. Now I put in his wife, Joan Smith and want to copy all match profile info to her without having to go through and select it all again.

Only each rep can see agenda and Upcoming for that rep.

is it true that everyone can see each others agenda and Upcoming events?
If so why is this?
When I press the rex tab on the top right it brings up other reps appointments and everyone's daily tass etc.
How do we make it so only each rep will see their own info???

Change the automatic due date on invoices
The automatic two week due date needs to be changed to one week or "due on receipt of invoice" because two weeks is too long as it is generally halfway through the campaign already and the closer to confirmation the less likely they will pay without wanting a deal on prices.

Assigning multiple owners to appointments
When adding a reminder to a property or person in the type of an appointment (so it shows up in the calendar) we need to be able to assign multiple owners to one appointment so it shows up in each persons calendar.

With the reminders, it needs to be marked as complete by someone, so if you have several users getting the reminder it would make it tricky as to who has completed.
What you can do is subscribe to each others calendars so you can see what appointments each are attached to.
With reminders like contract dates, Admin users can change the dashboard to view it as someone else so they can follow up on these.

Notify Agent when an auto email has been sent to a buyer/contact in the stream
In the old rex, you would receive a notification in your stream of which contacts had received an auto email. Can this be reinstated so that agents know who to make a follow up call to?

ofi lists
listings still in draft mode need to be available on the ofi lists. Makes it difficult to plan open times when they dont appear on the list until it is uploaded to the net. This was available on the old rex.

Thanks for the feedback.
This isn’t something we will be going ahead with.
Because a draft is not an actual listing yet, you can not use it for reporting. If you could, it would show any accidental ones or drafts you didn’t want to show on the report.
If you do not want to upload the listing to the portals, you can untick that option in the Publish settings. That way it is published and usable for OFI lists, but not live on the internet.

Allow an image to be used as the background of a newsletter.
In our office, the background of all of our documents is an image. I cannot recreate this style in the newsletter as I can only select a block colour - Having a box that allows you to select an image from your computer and have it used as the background would be great for us and I'm sure other offices will benefit.

Add Advertise As Price as an option for sorting stocklists and listings
Currently there is only match as price that you can sort stocklists and listings by.
It makes more sense to have the advertise as price as the sorting option.

Because the advertise as field is a text field, you can not sort by advertise as.
It wouldn’t know how to sort a listing which had advertise as price set to ‘Auction’ for example.

To have an option where you can choose which ads the match emails use
The ability to use the default or long ad for the buyer match email so that the short ad can remian for use only for stock lists
