Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.
Remember – no request is too small :)

Option to not include OFI Attendees surnames
When generating a vendor report should have an tick box option to choose to leave surnames off OFI attendees - for privacy reasons.

dialling from a mobile out of rex
When in rex on an iphone it would be handy to be able to have the phone recognise the Rex contact's phone number as a phone number and be able to dial directly from there, as opposed to having to copy and paste the number from rex.

Legal name field in on a contact record
When you enter a contact i think having a spot for a legal name section would be beneficial we have a lot of contacts who's legal name is complete different to the name they want to be addressed by

That’s right, you can now include a middle name, a legal name, a salutation and the addressee to a contact record. Rex will use the right one when sending emails, newsletters, filling out contracts, etc.
These new fields can be accessed per usual from the contact’s name settings, and when editing existing contacts.

Continuous feed of appointments to Google calendars
Currently, the Gmail calendar sync will only feed appointments present at the time of setting up the integration. It will not feed any future appointments made after that time. It will save so much time for Gmail users who have to manage 2 calendars.
2 votesThanks for the suggestion. Earlier this year we completely overhauled the calendar and introduced a tonne of advanced functionality. Notably we support two way sync with both Gmail and Outlook.

Having an option to "Snooze" Reminders
It would be great to have an option to "Snooze" reminders.
To explain this - let's say I have a call due to a contact today and I've called, but only been able to leave a voicemail message. Instead of having to edit the reminder and update the date of the task to tomorrow, if there was a "Snooze" option, that automatically moved the reminder to the next business day, this would save a lot of time.

open contact in another window
When using reminders it would be great if you could click on their name and have the option to bring up their personal stream in a second window (or tab) so that you can see the history but not move out of the reminder window. -i.e. to see both at once.

When creating an invoice for Commission, it would be good to automatically pull in the commission amounts from commission worksheet.

Enquiry source when adding feedback
When adding feedback there is no option for adding Enquiry source. If someone comes to an open home, you can’t add an enquiry for them to show on the vendor report.

A cashflow report which details commissions due to office (net of GST & Franchise) split into months & details the property address & agent
26 votesThe Cashflow Report has now been completed.
This can be located in the reporting centre under Commissions called ‘Commission Cash Flow’.
The report will export to Excel which can then be exported as a PDF if required.

SMS Options
It would be great to have our mobile phone numbers linked to REX so that we can send an SMS from REX. I know that we can send letters and files from REX, but I'd like to be able to SMS all buyers after an open home thanking them for coming through without having to manually do it on my phone.

Automatically add contacts from Homepass OFI's into a Rex Mailing List
It would be really useful for any contact checked in from Homepass to be added to a mailing list ‘Homepass” and also tagged “Homepass”. Assuming that the coding checked to see if they were already on the list to avoid duplication (in the event that a person comes through a home opens twice or has been previously checked in elsewhere)
That way we can simply send the ‘Homepass’ list our OFI guide each week to ensure they’re kept up to date and not lost in the system.

Thanks for voting! Going forward we will be adding a tag to any contacts updated or added by Homepass. The tag will be called ‘homepass’.
You will then be able to add your mailing list by filtering this tag and adding the mailing list. If you require help with filtering and applying the mailing list as a mass action please contact our support team for help content.
The reason we will not automatically add a mailing list is because not all contact will want to be automatically added to your mailing list.
If you would like an ‘add to mailing list’ checkbox in the Homepass application please contact Homepass to suggest this to them.

Search by last name rather than entire name
We really need to be able to search for any contact by their last name. Having to remember ever single person's full name to be able to pick up the exact contact is time consuming, and generally people cannot remember full names but rather just their last name.
We ask for better searching capabilities, in particular searching just by last names.

You’ll be happy to hear that we offer the functionality you just described! You can search by surname by performing a wildcard search. Just put a percentage sign before your search e.g. %smith. Feel free to contact our friendly support team if you have any additional queries around this. -
Better OFI Feedback Capabilities
It would be a great idea if we could have ‘parent’ OFI inspections where you have an ‘OFI' which was conducted on a certain day at a certain time and then you could add OFI attendees with separate feedback under the parent OFI.

Be able to "pin" a note to the top of the stream
We occasionally have a note that we need to be able to be viewed throughout the term of the listing (and not scroll down the stream). This might be a note that the owner is staying in the property for a few days, or holiday bookings which need to be honoured as a condition of the sale (for example). But once it scrolls right down the feed, no one sees it.

Make the rex reminders sync
Like the calendar integration with iPhone calendar, it would be great if the Rex reminders were able to be synced with the reminders app on the iPhone so calls and reminders could be made or viewed on the run.

Hide feature for reversed trust transactions
It would be great if we could have a toggle so you could ‘hide’ reversed trust transactions. When viewing a ledger with multiple reversals it is very messy and hard to read.

Read only permissions don't allow you to view listing images
When agents have read only permissions on a listing record, they are unable to 'view' the images in the image folder.
They can see the 4 stock images however they are unable to view any more than that.
It would be good if they could view all images (but no ability to edit).

Add Support for auditing changes in privilege sets
It would be great if we had the ability to contact support to get a log of who made what changes against privileges and permissions. This will allow super admin users to view when and what changes were made to a privilege set and / or permission groups.
