Welcome Rex Users!
Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.
Remember – no request is too small :)

Add Lifestyle to 'Property Type' drop down menu
Under 'Property Type' can you please add 'Lifestyle' to the drop down menu, we use this category frequently in our listings and it is important for our feeds to other portals.

Record time that notes are made
Currently, Rex only records the date you've entered a note, it would be good if a time stamp was also recorded.

VENDOR REPORT - Remove 'Match' Feature
Don't use the buyer matching at present and would like the option to remove this feature so it doesn't show on our vendor reports.

When generating the report you now have the option to include / exclude trend data and choose which specific report pages you want to include.

Sales Advice - Remove commission
I would like to be able to add or remove a commission amount on a sales advice.
15 votesThanks for the suggestion. There is now an option when generating a sales advice as to whether you want to include the commission details or not. Additionally, you can choose include or not include the buyer’s and purchaser’s details.

Video with E-Brochure Automatic alerts
As an agency we do a bit of video, as I'm sure others do too. Would like to option to have video embedded with the ebrochures or a least a link for prospective buyers to click on when they receive manual or automatic buyer alerts.
15 votesAn option to view videos has been available on the new version of the eBrochure since it was released. If you’re still using the old eBrochure, reach out to the support team and they will show you how to change it over.

Mailing Lists
At the moment if there are two email addresses against the one contact, only the 'primary' contact will receive the newsletter. Can we have this amended so we have the option for both people to receive it.

Vendor report - Price indication graph range too wide.
Currently when I put together an activity report for my vendors the price range displayed is often between 0 & a million dollars even though most of my feedback will fall within a $100k range. It would be much more useful if the graph range either snapped to the figures entered or you could set a range to display before creating the report so vendors can actually discern where the price feedback is coming in.

Group SMS from app
After registering attendees at an open home on the Pocket by Rex app, it would be great at the end of the open home to then have an option to send a group text to all the attendees (still using a template).Rather than having to do it individulaly, or waiting to get back to the office to do a mass SMS on the full website.
15 votesThanks for the suggestion! This feature is now available in Pocket. You can access it in an Open Home, tap the “•••” menu, selecting Bulk Message and then selecting SMS.

First name default for Vendor Reports
It would be great if the Vendor Reports were set to default to a First Name only. They currently default to Full Name.
It's better for privacy if the First Name is set as a default for these.

'View all in a list' to be available for searches with more than one result
This used to be available before the search bar redesign but now creates a lot more clicks to get to a list of smaller complexes or maybe two contacts that you want to merge. The cut off is currently three, when four or more results are returned you get the 'View all in a list' appearing otherwise you are forced to go to Properties > Properties > Filter > Apply Filter or Contacts > All Contacts > Filter Contacts > Apply Filter. For such a small change this would be a great time-saver for us.
15 votesAs part of the global search overhaul we released last year, you're able to open a list when more than one result is returned, allowing you do bulk merges, etc.

Email Dropbox
Allow CC'ing of a special rex email address to automatically file an email against relevant contacts in the rex system so that you can keep records of each email that you have sent to your clients.

Dashboard Stream - Accidental Listings
If a duplicate listing was accidently created. Do not show the 'Withdrawn' listing in the stream as it looks like the original listing was withdrawn.

Inclusion of distinguishing features next to OFI attendees name when adding their feedback
When adding OFI attendees it is a necessity that the drop down box of existing buyers in our database include more information than just a name. e.g we have 15 people named John Smith in our database, when the drop down box shows 15 existing clients we do not know which one is correct and therefore create another duplicate file. This can be easily avoided by having the contact name, and their mobile number as a distinguishing feature in the drop down box

Automatically add contacts from Homepass OFI's into a Rex Mailing List
It would be really useful for any contact checked in from Homepass to be added to a mailing list ‘Homepass” and also tagged “Homepass”. Assuming that the coding checked to see if they were already on the list to avoid duplication (in the event that a person comes through a home opens twice or has been previously checked in elsewhere)
That way we can simply send the ‘Homepass’ list our OFI guide each week to ensure they’re kept up to date and not lost in the system.

Thanks for voting! Going forward we will be adding a tag to any contacts updated or added by Homepass. The tag will be called ‘homepass’.
You will then be able to add your mailing list by filtering this tag and adding the mailing list. If you require help with filtering and applying the mailing list as a mass action please contact our support team for help content.
The reason we will not automatically add a mailing list is because not all contact will want to be automatically added to your mailing list.
If you would like an ‘add to mailing list’ checkbox in the Homepass application please contact Homepass to suggest this to them.

Leased or Rented brochures
Can we have a brochure that has LEASED or RENTED on it for property management just as there is one with SOLD? Would be useful for our window cards.

Please add the ability to search by business name as we cannot remember the address of all our business listings

Hide feature for reversed trust transactions
It would be great if we could have a toggle so you could ‘hide’ reversed trust transactions. When viewing a ledger with multiple reversals it is very messy and hard to read.

Add ability to search for a key number
The option to have a key number saved in Rex is a great idea, but without the ability to 'search' for a key number it is fairly useless.
Please add the option to search for a key number :)

There’s also a bunch of other exciting improvements, including the ability to check keys in & out, support for multiple keys, and more.
