Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Inquiries going straight through into REX

    Inquiries going straight into REX on dashboard or otherwise having an "inquiry" tab for customers to be able to contact us or send their enquirers through from our websites or other portals.

  2. Reintroduction of agent 'position' in their profile.

    This will allow merge letters to show agent's position and not having to manually add this to each and every letter produced.

    Hi Everyone,

    Agents can change their position title by following these steps:
    > Hi their name (in the top right hand corner)
    > Profile
    > Type their position into the ‘Position’ text box

    You then have the ability to add their position to merges by selecting the merge letter/email etc you wish to edit and selecting:
    > Insert merge tag
    > Contact (Record Owner) from the drop down
    > Contact record owner [Position]

  3. Convenient forward & back arrows at bottom of each page.

    Add "next 20" forward & back arrows at the bottom RHS of each contact/property list page to duplicate the buttons at the top RHS of each page so that we don't have to scroll up each time to access the next or previous 20 list of items.

    We’re happy to announce this suggestion has been brought to life by our developers and is now live in the system.

    You’ll need to hold down command (mac) / control (windows) before clicking the “view” button to open the record in a new window.

  6. Other Agent Boards- Adding a price

    When adding Other Agent Boards (OAB's) being able to add a "price range" or "text" as at the moment you can only add a singular figure.

  8. Brochure Options

    With our previous version of Rex we were able to select to show on the brochure 'Full Address', 'Street Name & Suburb' or 'Suburb Only'. This was great as our office uses both 'Street Name & Suburb' and the 'Suburb Only' option.

    Also with our old version we had customised window cards, with these we also have the options of how many photos we could have. Typically we would used 4 photos but on occasion there would only be a front shot so only a 1 photo window card was required. Our customised window card has been created but without…

    All of these requests can actually be completed in Rex. You can create custom brochures to have as many photos as you want. You also have the ability to override the address to either ‘street & suburb’ or ‘suburb’ only by using the marketing overrides available in Rex.

  9. Create auto fields for sale brochures to prepopulate Council Rates, Water, Body Corp fees from Rex

    We want these fields to prepopulate onto Sale brochures. However in the brochure template setup there is no current option to add this field to the sale brochure. Its important information for all buyers. Please simply add to the list asap.

    You can add these details to your brochures by using the ‘insert merge tag’ functionality in the custom brochure builder.

  10. Change "Available" field on rental brochures

    This field is showing as "2014-03-28" on rental brochures. Cant see way of changing it. Just want it changed asap to read "28th Mar 2014" as it appears in Rex.

  11. Extra Tabs for Rates in Listing Details

    I understand that you can add this information into the property information, but I want to add it to the listing information.
    Reason for this is that I print off the Listing detail sheets for my sales reps and this info needs to be included to refer to at a glance.
    For now I have put the information into “notes”, although it would be better if some extra tabs were included in say OTHER DETAILS for example.
    As I said before I require the following tabs to appear in this section:
    • Council Rates p/a
    • Water Rates p/a
    •…

    Condense the Ofi report pages so that they can be printed on a single or single reverse page. therefore if you could have upto 22 opens per page this allows larger RE Agencies that are doing over 40 Ofi inspections to just hand out a single sheet.

    The enquiry feedback type is available as of this week. As part of the workflow for entering this, you can specify an enquiry source – we would recommend something more specific than email or phone but you can add these to the Enquiry source value list if you wish.

  14. Property & Contact Stream showing what has been emailed to them once we match them too & email them properties

    When we match a buyer to a property or a property to a buyer once we have emailed that to them it doesnt show up in the stream for that property/client. it would be good if it showed what properties we sent to them so that we dont send them properties twice or so we dont miss any

    This week saw the release of stream entries for manual and automatic match emails. If you customize the content of your emails before sending this is also be accessible from the stream.

  15. Simplify wording in filters

    Can we please simplify the wording when you choose to filter searches with advanced criteria? Same when building a letter template and you are trying to select the merge tags. I have never read anything more complicated in my life. I have agents in my office trying to do buyer match(s) and the wording just makes life complicated. 'Is any of' 'is none of' surely there is an easier, clearer way...

    While it can be a little daunting at first, once you have performed a few filters, it does make sense.

    When generating a pdf LETTER for our company branding / logo to appear on the template so we can then email it as a pdf.

    This week saw the release of a new vendor report generation dialog.

    When generating the report you now have the option to include / exclude trend data and choose which specific report pages you want to include.

  18. Zero cost items in VPA schedule

    We'd like to be able to create zero-rated items in the VPA schedule for a listing. This helps show the vendor we're provided added value at no direct cost to them. This includes things like standard uploads to realestate.com.au.

  19. VENDOR REPORT - Allow removal of the 'Stats' page

    Our agents would like to be able to cut out the vast majority of the content in the Vendor Report. Our agents are more suited to the previous report where there is only the Vendor Feedback for that particular property as we do not hold 'Open Homes' etc.

  20. Sold banner to appear on the stocklist

    If you print a stocklist of sold properties to be attached to listing presentations, the banner says Under Contract, although the property is clearly showing in Rex that it is Sold. How else can Sold properties be showcased currently?
