Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

A name field to identify each phone number listed under a contact
Need a name field next to phone number section to identify who owns which phone number when there is more than one name in the contact ID e.g when a whole family is listed in the contact, husband/wife etc
2 votesThe “type” field is actually a freeform field designed to double as a way for you to label the phone numbers with a particular contact’s name beyond just labeling them as “Mobile / Home” etc. – When the dropdown appears, simply type anything you want to store a custom value.

Commercial Sale & Lease Listing tab
We need a feature that adds both listings for sale & Lease as one. Instead of adding the listing twice. It takes to much work adding all the listing data twice.

What we would recommend doing is to create the first listing, then duplicate it. This way it copies all the details of the listing and you don’t need to fill it out again.

Change task date in Rex Reminder screen
When in the Rex reminder list screen, it would be great if there was also an option to 'change date' of a task while in this screen. So if a task comes up in your calendar but it's not quite due yet, if there was an option in the screen to change the date to push the reminder back a few days. Saves going into each record to push back reminders.

Record time that notes are made
Currently, Rex only records the date you've entered a note, it would be good if a time stamp was also recorded.

Birth date search
When you conduct an advanced search to check for who has birthday's today, it shows no results unless a persons birthday is today's actual date.
There needs to be a way to filter by just the date and month of all years - This will allow agents to send out cards/emails, etc. in advance of someone's birthday.

Searching for a birthday on the 28th of October 2017 will now show you all contacts that were born on the 28th of October of any year.

Print detailed stocklist of current listings
Print a detailed stocklist with detailed property information (asking price, beds/bath/car, land size etc) for ease of access when out of the office. If you have say more than 8 listings on the go and a team of agents working under you, it is imperative to have all of this information on hand at all times instead of having to have access to a computer/internet to pull up one file at a time.

Vendor report - Price indication graph range too wide.
Currently when I put together an activity report for my vendors the price range displayed is often between 0 & a million dollars even though most of my feedback will fall within a $100k range. It would be much more useful if the graph range either snapped to the figures entered or you could set a range to display before creating the report so vendors can actually discern where the price feedback is coming in.

Report for all open IBD Trust accounts
Need a report which has all open IBD account balances on it.
It would be great to include (but not limited to) these fields on the report:
Date Opened
Reference ID Number
Property Address
Amount held36 votesYou can now generate the Trial Balances and Full Ledger Summary reports (located in Admin > Reports > Trust General) in the context of your IBD accounts.
To do so, go to generate the report as you normally would and from the trust account dropdown select “IBD Accounts”.

Update Portal enquiry to specific realestate.com etc
can we please add realestate.com.au, domain, homesales etc as a enquiry source option when uploading a new lead

Letter Margins - ability to test margins
Currently you need to enter the pixels and then go to a letter to 'check' if the amount you put into the margins is correct.
If we could have a 'test' option from the same page to confirm if the number of pixels entered is correct it would be very helpful.

Task assignee should be based on job role, not person specific
When creating or editing a Track we should have the option to make the assignee of a Track a job role, eg. Sales Admin, Reception etc. So when a staff member leaves the Track is still associated with their role and not their name.

A field to enter the RP Data property URL against each property in Rex
Please include a hyperlink field where we can paste the RP data URL for each property.
Ideally in Property > Key Details > Property Attributes

You may want to take a look at the Core Logic integration instead which gives you access straight to rp data details, the link, a cma deep link and other information straight in Rex: help.rexsoftware.com/corelogic-interacting-..
If you’d still like a field, you may want to speak to a super admin in your office and request that they add a custom field (http://help.rexsoftware.com/custom-fields-tabs-introduction).

STOCKLIST - Public List to include OFI times
Can you please incorporate the public list to include the OFI times as well?
Currently, agents have to hand out 2 lists, one which contains all of listings for sale and one which has the OFI times.

First off, we’ve added space beside each listing for information on an auction, set-sale or tender venue and time, when applicable. You also have the option to include OFI times, to boot.
There’s the opportunity to include a building or business name, too.

More advanced search functions to help sort & Fix the Data
Some examples of useful searches are
- performing finds on all data with or without current reminder or track.
- Properties with or without an attached owner
- Contacts categorized to group like with like

Option to easily add or remove banking details to invoices without having to go through Agency Settings & Branding to add the details
It'd be great if there was just a simple 'Add Banking Details' button when creating an invoice, or a drop down menu where you can choose between a Sales Trust Account or a General Account. If that was the case, there would need to be a section in Agency Settings & Details to add two separate bank accounts, instead of just one.

Saving time by REX picking up the OFI, Listing etc when doing OFI Feedback
Hi,
A lot of time is being wasted with us having to select OFI feedback source, enter the property, OFI time and other information when entering feedback from an OFI.
It would be great if REX picked up that a buyer came to a OFI and what property they came through and what time, instead of having to manually enter it.
This can be very time consuming for agents with lots of listings.
Please have a look at this.

Repeatable Reminders &/Or Announcements
It would be great to have the option to set reminders and Announcements to be able to repeat - either on a set time period or when a task is completed.

Auto-archive of appraisals on creation of listing
When a property is listed, Rex should ask the user if they wish to archive the appraisal against the property.
This would address the issue where we have a number of active appraisals on property records where the property has actually been listed and or sold.

Notify agents when a new listing has been uploaded
It would be great if an automated email could go to all agents in the office when a new listing has been uploaded.

Open Homes: Change default time of open home to 30 mins
Rex, can you please add the ability to change the default length of open home times. Currently the default length is set to 1 hour (60mins), but our office, and many other offices use 30 minutes as the default open home length. So i propose having the ability to choose between default length of 30mins or 60mins depending on each office's requirements.
This would help save us a lot of time when we are doing 30+ open homes a week.
