Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Add ability to search for a key number

    The option to have a key number saved in Rex is a great idea, but without the ability to 'search' for a key number it is fairly useless.

  2. Ability to present different Agents Commission structures

    Hi,
    we like most agencies have many agents, who all have different commission structures. We also sell different products where the commissions rates vary.
    Is there a way to pre-load these commission structures that would be like the pre-set agency commission, so that these important fees are set once and then just selected by the Administrator with no room for errror.

    You can now set the default commission amount for an agent under Settings > Commissions > Agent Defaults!

    In addition you can set up default Commission Structures for things like packages offered by your agency.

  3. Delete Bulk Events - Open Homes

    Seeing as we are able to upload recurring open home times - shouldnt there be a way to delete the recurring? At the moment you have to manually go in and delete every event individually. Can we have an option to be able to select the events in one go and remove them?

  4. Merge Event Details to SMS/Emails

    I would like to create an email/sms template to notify vendors and prospective buyers of OFI times, however the event details are not a merge field. Can you please include event details as a merge item for sms and email templates.

    Good news: we have recently added extra merge tags to accommodate this.

    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home date
    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home time
    Listing (Marketing) > Next open home agent
    Listing (Marketing) > Upcoming open homes (table of all upcoming open homes)

  5. Key register to include all listings until marked settled

    At the moment as soon as a property is marked undercontract it disappears off the key register. We need to have them on the register until the property is settled.

  6. Vendor Report

    When previously doing the vendor reports we entered the feedback from the OFI's on individual contacts, but it took too long. I then contacted you about this, and you recommended this procedure: http://www.rexsoftware.com/feature-release-separate-feedback-for-ofi-attendees/

    This was great however the feedback doesn't come out as nice as doing it individually. See the latest open home feedback on the attached report.

    Is there anything we can do to get the feedback looking like earlier entries in the attached report?

    Thanks for your suggestion. The developers took note and added some padding to the vendor reports. You’ll notice that theres now a line break between each item of feedback from an open home.

  7. ofi times need to automatically fill

    Currently you put in your ofi times to go to internet portals. Why is it that you then need to add your ofi time doing ofi feedback. This should automatically fill when opened.

  8. Add contacts to a call list from all OFI / Buyer inspections (with a date range)

    So after a weekend of opens and inspections you can generate a list for all your callbacks

  9. Auction details on brochure

    The auction date and time doesn't appear on the brochure. Can you please look into making this appear instead of the price.

  10. Add filter for listings by 'date listed'

    It would be great to be able to generate a report, or filter our listings to show properties that were listed in a certain time period. The filter would need to be based off of the date in the 'date listed' field, in the key details tab. It's understood that we can filter by the publish date, but the publish date isn't always the same as the date listed. This information is key for our directors and would be great for our monthly office awards based around this.

    You can generate this filter by using the advanced filter ‘Listing Details – Authority Date Start’ in the listings module.

  11. Add 'Follow Up' to Feedback type

    Rather than have to put follow up information under buyer inspection, which prompts having to put in the property address again and date, a lot of information added to vendor reports is simply 'follow up'. In other words, further conversations with a buyer after an inspection.
    And by default, follow up should automatically link to the last mentioned property inspected by that buyer and load today's date.

  12. Ability to adjust/enter receipt number

    Would like the ability to adjust the 'next receipt number' in rex to enable us to add the receipt number that we use for the same transaction in our manual receipt book.

    As we have already issued receipt numbers to customers, we should be issuing chronological receipts following on from our previous system/process.

    Stocksheet covers are optionally available when generating your stocklist and larger font sizes are available with the “Optimize for A5 brochures” option.

    Tom – you might want to log your request as a seperate suggestion (there aren’t currently any plans to allow full customization).

  14. Allow Agent Photo to appear on Brochures

    Agent photos are standard in the contact agent information for properties that are uploaded to portals, websites and brochures/windowcards.

  15. My Listings, similar to My Contacts, but only with the listings that have the agent associated with it

    Its great to have My Contacts, but many of the agents here would like a quick way to see just their own listings without having to use the filter.

    An option called My Listings that would basically filter the listings to show those against the logged in user.

  16. Tick box for address the same as Postal address

    It would save time if there was a box to tick when the contact's address is the same as their Postal address. Saves writing it out twice or copying and pasting. Thanks

    Hi Everyone,
    When filling out the Contact Record, if there is no Postal Address entered it assumes that the Home Address is the Postal Address.
    You don’t need to add in the Postal address unless it is different from the Home Address.

  17. Can you make the feedback box bigger than 2 lines?

    When you add feeback, the little box where you actually type the feedback in is so small it's a pain when you are adding feedback for multiple contacts that have come through an open home, or just a big chunk of feedback.

  18. Make the New Listing emails customisable

    We would love to be able to customise the current New Listing email template that automatically goes out to contacts with a match profile.

    We want to be able to make the style more in line with our company branding and appearance.

    It would also be good to be able to have the option to redirect the recipient directly to the listing on our company website when they click the 'see more' link, rather than it generating an e-brochure.

    Hi Harriet,

    Customising the appearance of the new listing emails is already possible (via admin > advanced html templates > match emails) though you’ll need some help from our developers or an external party that knows some things about html to do this. If you get in touch with the support team they’ll be able to help you out with some more info.

    The “See more” link can also be configured to go to your website already however you will need to be running a compatible site (requirements are fairly minimal). Again, please get in touch with the support team for more info!

  19. Listing Disclaimer Text

    We need the ability to append standard disclaimer text to all listings uploaded to the portals.

    Perhaps this could be added to Agency Settings & Branding in the Admin menu?

Feedback and Knowledge Base
