Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  3. Custom fields against listing

    It would be good to have a custom field against a listing to be able to use in brochures and other areas of Rex.

    For example if you want to section a town off into different areas (within the suburbs), you could have a custom field called 'Custom Location' then in that field you could name the area for the listing. People sometimes have a name for an area of town that is not necessary the suburb. This of course would show up in brochures where you want.

    I have seen someone wanting 'Business Name' to show up in brochures…

    You’ll be happy to hear that we offer the functionality you just described! You can search by suburb by performing a wildcard search. Just put a percentage sign before your search e.g. %sydney. Feel free to contact our friendly support team if you have any additional queries around this.

  6. Exporting reports to Excel

    The ability to export reports to Excel would be great to allow for greater flexibility/and to personalise a report.

  7. Contact Report for Newsletter subscribers that clicked a particular property or link

    The subscriber activity currently provides information on which links were clicked on, who clicked on the most links, but cannot provide the one thing I would most like to know which Contacts were interested in a particular Property or link to follow up. I would also like the link when it a property to display the property instead of just a link to the listing_id.

  8. Additional Construction Elements under a listing

    Under a listing could we have more than one construction choice. For many properties for both the cladding and roof there are often more than one product. For example block base and weatherboard top and the gabel part of the roof may be colour steel or long run whilst the eve or extension areas may be a membrane like neuroply style roof.

  9. Run training seminars 'Dynamic Days', 'WOW Weeks' and 'Mega Months' using Rex software

    Do the trainings so that it runs like a day would run in a successful real estate office using Rex. Tips, tricks, shortcuts to getting things done.

    As opposed to other real estate apps that have most of their clients using 10% of the software and the other 90% just gets left and never implemented.

  10. Add field for AUCTION LOCATION ie "On Site" or "At xyz" as not all Auctions are held onsite.

    Add an extra box for the In-room Auction location as not all Auctions are held on-site.

  11. Sales Agency Agreement expiry dates

    Would love the system to generate an actual expiry date rather than having to manually calculate 90 days each time and for that date to be on reports rather than DTE.

    Happy to announce that this is now available.

    When entering authority details you now have the option of entering a start date and duration or expiry date – if you enter an expiry date the duration will be automatically calculated and vice versa.

    Pretty straight forward...having the land size displayed on the brochures so all information is present.

  13. Sort feedback, open times & notes by date on the vendor report instead of the order they were entered

    When entering notes about a property or feedback from opens, they do not appear sorted by date.
    So if you do not enter feedback in chronological order, it continues to appear all mixed up.
    This effects the Vendor Report etc.
    Same thing happens with open times. If you enter a few Thursday opens and then a few Saturday opens, they do not sort in the back end of Rex by date – only sort by date on the website.

    Ideally they should be able to be sorted/viewed in date order.

    We understand many of you are wanting Rex to be fully mobile/tablet compatible. However, due to the large volume of requests in this suggestion for an open home app we’re going to mark this request as complete due to the release of our integration with Homepass.   19. Dashboard Stream - Accidental Listings

    If a duplicate listing was accidently created. Do not show the 'Withdrawn' listing in the stream as it looks like the original listing was withdrawn.

  20. Ability to search multiple tags at once even if a listing/contact is only tagged with one of the tags you are searching.

    Currently if you search multiple tags it will return no results even though listings have been tagged with one of the tags you are searching.
