Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. settlement calendar

    It would be good to have a settlement calendar or a way to quickly see all up and coming settlements for all users

  2. buyer match

    Problem with Buyer Match: if you put that a buyer has a criteria of one garage a match excludes a property that does not have a garage but does have a carport. There is no criteria for carport in the match profile. I think that the match should combine a listings garage and/or carports. The only way to get around this is to not put anything down in this criteria when filling out the buyer requirements.

  3. Add contacts to a call list from all OFI / Buyer inspections (with a date range)

    So after a weekend of opens and inspections you can generate a list for all your callbacks

    Hi Everyone,
    We’re happy to announce this suggestion has been brought to life by our developers and is now live in the system.
    1. Go to system lists
    2. Filter for feedback for a specific agent
    3. Select all, go to related (contacts)

  4. Key Register List

    There doesnt seem to be anywhere to generate a key register list? This was available on the old rex.

  5. Under Contract Status

    It would be much better to have the portal feeds update with the "under contract" status when the property goes unconditional rather than when adding the contracts. Its fine to show it in our side of the rex but some contracts fall over and the enquiry stops as soon as they see it goes under contract. If people can only see that it is under contract when it goes unconditonal that would be much better!

  6. Ability to save advanced filter searches

    There does not appear to be an option to save advanced filter/searches.

    There are a number of advance searches/filters that we do on a regular basis. It is very time consuming to have to re enter all the criteria each time we do the search. If we could do it once manually then save the search it it would be very helpful.

  7. Stocklists

    The stocklist should be able to be sorted by listing category and then by other filters eg: ascending price etc.

  8. Link both contact and property in notes / reminders etc

    Have the capacity to link a contacts and properties through notes / reminders etc.

    Page break should be a feature in the normal set up area of Letter merges rather than having to use the "HTML" page.

  10. Link both a contact & property to an appointment

    When setting up a buyer inspection, it would be convenient to link the appointment to the contact as well as the property rather than just one or the other.

  11. Price based filter for appraisals

    When a buyer is searching for a property we don't always have what they are looking for. We may however have a past appraisal that would suit what they are looking for, but we have no way of filtering through our appraisals based on price, which is usually the first thing that a buyer will look at.

    You’ll be pleased to hear this feature is now up and running in Rex! You can now filter appraisals by min price, max price, asking price and rental amount. Thank you once again for the great suggestion.

  12. Merge a contact so we don't end up with duplicates

    On the old system you could merge a contact with a duplicate or if a couple was in there separately we could add them as 1. This needs to be a feature!

  13. Open Home Banner On Marketing

    Just wondering if there is an option to put Open Home Times on a banner in the Marketing brochures for a letterbox drop prior to the Open.

    Most definitely! You can add this in by creating a custom brochure and using our readily available merge tag.
    Contact our friendly support team should you require any help with this.

  14. Export listings with more information

    In addition to the current listing reporting options (OFI and stocklist brochures), can we have an option to export a list of current listings which shows information such as:
    Building name / property address / date of listing sign-up / # bedrooms / Listing price / agent assigned to listing / property size / body corporate rates / notes..

  15. We need Open for Inspections to provide multiples of 5 minutes (as per old Rex), new Rex only provides for multiples of 15 minutes

    We want to start or finish open for inspections at times other than on the quarter hour. We like to do rent OFIs for rentals for 20 minutes and then allow a varying time to get to the next property depending on distance. Now we can only allow 15 or 30 minutes between opens. Old Rex allowed the 15 minute slots. New Rex is making Saturdays for rental open houses very difficult.

  16. only have land size icon appear if it has been used

    rentals rarely use this feature looks unappealing on the stock list when black - would be good if it only appeared on a listing if a figure had been entered in

  17. Marketing Overide - Street and Suburb Display Option

    In the marketing overide there are only options to display full address or suburb only. This feature is great...but it would be better if we could select Street and Suburb as an option.

  18. My Listings, similar to My Contacts, but only with the listings that have the agent associated with it

    Its great to have My Contacts, but many of the agents here would like a quick way to see just their own listings without having to use the filter.

    An option called My Listings that would basically filter the listings to show those against the logged in user.

  19. Emails - Replies

    When emailing someone, replies should go back into Rex into the stream and having a notification on the dashboard. Integrating a full email system inside of Rex would be good if possible with an inbox / outbox etc

  20. Zero cost items in VPA schedule

    We'd like to be able to create zero-rated items in the VPA schedule for a listing. This helps show the vendor we're provided added value at no direct cost to them. This includes things like standard uploads to realestate.com.au.
