Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. Ability to add reminders to notes

    When adding a note you should have a feature where you can add a reminder to that note, without having to go in and add a separate reminder.

  2. reassign SELECTED reminders not just ALL reminders per contact/property/listing

    I've just changed staff in an admin role, and there are some reminders in our admin role I want to assign to another role in the office. However, Rex only has the ability to find the style of reminder by filtering the reminder description and then viewing the records in either the listing, property or contact. This means that when I reassign bulk reminders all reminders in the listing, property or contact will reassign, not just the one reminder that was filtered per contact, listing or property.   3. Create a Reminder when entering a note

    Have a tick box within adding a note section so that if you add a note when talking to someone, you can tick the box to create a reminder to call that person back if need be. Instead of double handling by creating a note then creating a reminder.

    We have added a tick box that will allow you to also create a reminder at the point of creating a note, hopefully saving you from doing double data entry. See the attached picture.

  4. Reminder automatically assigns to the user creating the reminder

    When you Add a reminder it automatically assigns to the user creating the reminder not the record owner

    Thanks for the suggestion. We have altered this functionality, so now when you create a reminder, it will default to the record owner. However, the option remains to assign it to someone else with the dropdown.

  5. Setting reminders default to show all outstanding tasks not just todays tasks

    Can we change this default setting to ensure all overdue and current reminders are present in the agent dashboard? It makes no sense to have outstanding reminders hidden as they still need to be actioned and it creates a situation where tasks are getting missed. I can see from the above request search there have been multiple users bring this issue up and the idea has always been rejected. It makes no sense at all to ignore overdue reminders, what is the point of reminders at all if you only see what is due on a given day not what…

  6. Add a secondary person to assign a reminder to.

    Add a secondary person to assign a reminder to. This was for PA's they can get the reminder to follow through on the task but the sales agent can get a reminder also to keep in touch with what's happening with their clients.

  7. Change task date in Rex Reminder screen

    When in the Rex reminder list screen, it would be great if there was also an option to 'change date' of a task while in this screen. So if a task comes up in your calendar but it's not quite due yet, if there was an option in the screen to change the date to push the reminder back a few days. Saves going into each record to push back reminders.

  8. Having an option to "Snooze" Reminders

    It would be great to have an option to "Snooze" reminders.

    To explain this - let's say I have a call due to a contact today and I've called, but only been able to leave a voicemail message. Instead of having to edit the reminder and update the date of the task to tomorrow, if there was a "Snooze" option, that automatically moved the reminder to the next business day, this would save a lot of time.

    Expanding on this, you could give users the option of setting a couple of "Snooze" options that they could select from so they…

  9. Add new reminder after completing old one.

    When you tick off your reminder it enables you to add a note but not a new reminder. Majority of the time (especially for phone calls) you need to be able to quickly add a new reminder. (eg call back in 2 weeks to follow up).

    You can either go to the property and add a new reminder before you tick it off or use the + button but then have to select the property again.

    It would be a lot quicker and easier to have the option to add a new note or a new reminder after you tick…

  10. Recurring Reminders

    Would be great if you could setup a recurring reminder, either when setting up new Tracks or just adding a reminder to a contact/listing. Eg a reminder to give a potential seller a call on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis for a specified number of times, or to end on a certain date. Essentially the same functionality as iCal on Mac.

    At the moment I believe you have to manually enter every reminder individually.

  11. Print reminders list from within rex

    Reminders format horribly when printing from browser. Would be much easier if client name, number and description reminder would be printed in a list format for when agent is on the road and calling clients.

    Thanks for raising this with us.

    This is something you can do in Rex as I believe you have now found out.

    You can do this from the Dashboard, in Reminders, just click on ‘Pocket Agenda’ at the top of the screen.

    You can then choose which reminders you wish to print.

    Are we able to rank Hot/Warm/Cold reminders within the dashboard to help prioritise the work flow

  13. Link both contact and property in notes / reminders etc

    Have the capacity to link a contacts and properties through notes / reminders etc.

  14. other agenst should not be able to edit another agents reminders even if it is an open database

    With the open database other agents can delete or edit other agents reminders or comments or contact. it should be read only. the only person that can edit or delete the contact is a superuser (admin) or the FPOC agent themselves.

  15. Reminders being able to add notes and set new reminder from dashboard

    Currently we can add notes and tick the reminder as complete frome th dashbaord however we then have to go into the contact to set a new reminder. it would be good if the option to set a new reminder was included from the dashboard screen that would be applied to the client

    This is something you can already do in Rex.

    To add reminder on the fly, just click on the Plus symbol next to the search bar, then click on ‘Add Reminder’ down the bottom of that popup.
