Feature Requests
Welcome Rex Users!
Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.
Remember – no request is too small :)
Happy voting!

Prioritise tasks/reminders on each property/listing/contact and filter on dashboard
As you can only do one job at a time, it would be more efficient to find the most pressing job/task in order on the dashboard. Therefore we need the ability to number each tasks. So when tasks are loaded from the track they are already in order of priority. Then when they are seen on the dashboard there is another order of priority mixed with other listings/contacts/properties. Therefore we need the ability to filter by track and also listing/property/contact.
6 votesYou can now custom reorder reminders as part of the Enhanced Reminders release.

Under Contract Properties Appearing on the Dashboard Stream
The issue we (and many other offices) face is that we are wasting time promoting listings which are under contract and/or no longer available. This is because we don't receive a status change on our dashboard streams.
We think having the ability to show under contract listings on the dashboard will be very beneficial. It makes sense to think if a property is under contract, then the status of the listing has changed and is should be updated to reflect this.
The dashboard already has the option to filter property status changes, but, for some reason 'under contract' does not…
166 votesContract status changes are now included in the main home stream!

Sales admin to be able to view all contract dates in dashboard
Currently a sales admin needs to change the dashboard user to view each agents contract dates individually - it would be great if a sales admin could have all contract dates for the agents in that office location to appear in their dashboard.
158 votesWe now support filtering on the Contracts section of the Home Stream. This filter allows you to look at your team, or any combination of users. Find out about more changes we've made as part of our efforts to Simplify contract management in Rex.

Dashboard for residential only viewing
We would like to see only residential information on dashboard for residential sales people and likewise for the rental department. My dashboard is clogged up with all rental listings and information
131 votesDashboard filters can now be customised by each user. Simply update the filters at the top of the stream, select the cog and choose "Save as my default filters".
These filters can be used to reduce updates down to specific types of activity (e.g. contract updates, price updates, new listings etc) for specific types of listings (e.g. rentals / sale / commercial)

Ability to change the default Reminders view
Can we please have the ability to permanently change the "due TODAY" to "due THIS MONTH", etc on our Dashboard Reminders stream?
Perhaps this could be a default setting in the Admin area, or a saveable setting for each user.
3 votesThis is now possible with the addition of our saved and default filters on the Home Stream. See more info here: https://www.rexsoftware.com/updates/simplify-contract-management-in-rex

Add the ability to edit reminders from the dashboard
It is frustrating when I need to edit a reminder that I have to open the contact or property record, go to reminders and edit the reminder.
It would be much faster if I could edit my reminders due from the reminders located on the dashboard. Thank you.
7 votesWe’re happy to announce this suggestion has been brought to life by our developers and is now live in the system.

Dashboard Stream - Accidental Listings
If a duplicate listing was accidently created. Do not show the 'Withdrawn' listing in the stream as it looks like the original listing was withdrawn.
14 votesListings marked as “accidentally created” will no longer show in the dashboard stream when they get archived.

When making price changes they don't appear on the dashboard or in the drop down box for price changes
It was good to have my current listings displayed on the top right hand side of dashboard at all times
0 votesIf you would like a price change to show up on the dashboard you must select ‘Trigger Price Reduction Workflow’ on the listing record when changing the price.
Please contact our support team should you require further clarification on this.
