Feature Requests
Welcome Rex Users!
Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!
Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)
How it works:
- You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
- You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
- If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.
Remember – no request is too small :)
Happy voting!

Buyer Match - Show which properties are under contract
When you setup a new buyer match and save it. Then click the match button that shows what stock you currently have so you can email it out. It doesn't show you which properties in that list are under contract at the time. It would be great to have a under offer banner across the photo.
33 votesManual buyer match results now show contract status, and / or if you have the Rex Projects add on, the listing’s project status.

Auto cleaning/removing clients who have terminated a buyer match from appearing in reverse searches
Currently when a buyer terminates from receiving property brochures in REX they will still appear as a profile match when reverse matching against a property. There is no indication in this search that the buyer has terminated from receiving these alerts either in REX or the exported CSV file.
I am suggesting either the clients who terminate their searches be removed from appearing in these searches or be indicated on the report as having terminated their match profile.
This will allow the agent to either have a clean list of active buyers or be able to contact said client and…

Auto Match Profile - Enabling Email Contact
Now that REX has automatic match profiles for online enquires they haven't given the option for alerts to be sent to those match profiles.
I would like them to enable communications as an option when setting up auto-match profiles.27 votesCampaigns can now automatically be created for buyer match profiles. See how to set it up here: https://support.rexsoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/22351216374425-Automated-Buyer-Match-Campaigns

Auto assigning a match profile from Leads & ofi/inspection contacts
It would be amazing for REX to be able to auto populate a buyer match profile on to a contact when it is inputted into the system from a LEAD & OFI/Private Inspection. It should populate from the property that the buyer enquired on or inspects within $50k either side.
Other CRM systems do this and it is amazing for matching buyers quickly and saves time with the agents having to manually put a match profile on to each contact. This is a must have ASAP for agents using the system efficiently and being able to confidently tell an owner…

Enter suburbs by postcode
for buyer matching when you want to list a wide range of suburbs it would be much easier to do this by entering postcodes and ranges of postcodes. In rural areas buyers will often consider properties in a wide range of locations. Much easier to identify locations by postcode than by name.
19 votesThis weeks release saw the introduction of a new suburb picker tool in the match profile window. You will now see a button with four dots next to the suburb input – clicking this will launch a popup allowing for quick entry of suburbs in a specific postcode.

Match Profiles - to be able to be more specific on land size clients are looking for and what they are emailed when ppty matched
some clients may be looking for specific size blocks or rural land and dont want to be emailed properties that aren't specific to their needs and wants. if you could add a range of land size on their requirements so only pptys that fall into this criteria is sent to them.
19 votesThis week saw the release of this functionality.
Land and build area are now available for match profiles where appropriate.

Property & Contact Stream showing what has been emailed to them once we match them too & email them properties
When we match a buyer to a property or a property to a buyer once we have emailed that to them it doesnt show up in the stream for that property/client. it would be good if it showed what properties we sent to them so that we dont send them properties twice or so we dont miss any
16 votesThis week saw the release of stream entries for manual and automatic match emails. If you customize the content of your emails before sending this is also be accessible from the stream.

Make the New Listing emails customisable
We would love to be able to customise the current New Listing email template that automatically goes out to contacts with a match profile.
We want to be able to make the style more in line with our company branding and appearance.
It would also be good to be able to have the option to redirect the recipient directly to the listing on our company website when they click the 'see more' link, rather than it generating an e-brochure.
Thanks!
9 votesHi Harriet,
Customising the appearance of the new listing emails is already possible (via admin > advanced html templates > match emails) though you’ll need some help from our developers or an external party that knows some things about html to do this. If you get in touch with the support team they’ll be able to help you out with some more info.
The “See more” link can also be configured to go to your website already however you will need to be running a compatible site (requirements are fairly minimal). Again, please get in touch with the support team for more info!

Ability to mark Match Profiles as inactive
Instead of deleting match profiles (so they don't show up in reverse matches) it would be great to have the ability to mark Match Profiles as inactive. This way we'll have a full history and record for that contact but they won't show up on reverse matches.
8 votesWe introduced the ability in early 2022 for you to archive match profiles, so you can retain a full history with a contact. You will also shortly be able to set a rule to auto archive match profiles after a set period of time!

Easier to click properties in a match profile
Currently when you email a list of properties to a buyer, the only way they can see the e-brochure of an individual property is to click "read more"
It would be good if the buyer could also click the main photo and/or the address to get through to the e-brochure. I've had more than a few buyers not understand that they need to click "read more"7 votesWe have updated the base match email template so that now the listing title and the listing image links through to the e-brochure. You can find this template here:
Advanced HTML Templates > Match Emails > Rex Match Email Template
If you want to create your own custom templates for match emails, we would suggest duplicating this template first.

Notify agents when a new listing has been uploaded
It would be great if an automated email could go to all agents in the office when a new listing has been uploaded.

You’ll be happy to hear that we already offer the functionality you just described!

AUTO match profile that you can assign for a new OFI/contact. Why no GENERIC template to save then select for new buyers/contacts
AUTO match profile that you can assign for a new OFI/contact. There should be a GENERIC template you can save then select for new buyers/contacts.
The BEST way would be to have a match profile automatically applied to a OFI attendee or contact who came through a particular property. (You should be able to set what match profile this is on based on the property).

buyer match
Problem with Buyer Match: if you put that a buyer has a criteria of one garage a match excludes a property that does not have a garage but does have a carport. There is no criteria for carport in the match profile. I think that the match should combine a listings garage and/or carports. The only way to get around this is to not put anything down in this criteria when filling out the buyer requirements.

Thanks for the feedback!
This was a bug in Rex and has since been rectified.
