Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

  1. The ability to include the EPC on brochures automatically

    Add a merge filed to pull the EPC data from the listing into a brochure template.

    Thank you for your suggestion. We are delighted to let you know that we have implemented this functionality into Rex.

    You can access this EPC data as an image through our brochure builder. Select Listing Images > Scroll down until you see EPC where you can add it to your page.

  2. Brochure SMS charges REX not Phone on Pocket!

    When you SMS 'brochure' from pocket at the open home, the SMS charge is from REX not the phone like it claims. Can this be rectified ASAP?

  3. Brochures to appear in Alphabetical Order when generating PDF from Listing

    It would be handy if we could have our brochures in Alphabetical order rather than the current created dated to enable easier searching.

  4. Brochure link or weblink for property in SMS alert

    Add the brochure link or website link in the auto SMS property alerts. At the moment it links the address that goes to maps – it would be useful to show the property link so clients can get a visual of the property from their phone.

  5. Send clients to your Rex powered website instead of the Rex Ebrochure

    When clients click detail links to view more information about a property in an email, direct them to the property listing on your Rex powered website rather than to the Rex Ebrochure.

  6. Leased or Rented brochures

    Can we have a brochure that has LEASED or RENTED on it for property management just as there is one with SOLD? Would be useful for our window cards.

  7. Mass Creation of Brochures

    Currently, you have to go to each listing to print a brochure. It would make life a lot easier if we could select specific listings, then select 'Merge/Print Brochures'. We could then print multiple listing brochures rather than having to go into each individual listing.

    We’re happy to announce this suggestion has been brought to life by our developers and is now live in the system.

    Now it’s just a matter of filtering your listings, selecting the relevant records, and hey presto, you can generate a whole afternoon’s worth of brochures, or prepare your entire agency window in just a few clicks.

  8. Add sold price as text preset for sold brochures

    Automatic price change so that you we can send a brochure to clients of our sold properties that reflects the sold price on them not the advertised price. And use properties that are currently unconditional for this which you cannot currently do.

  9. Video with E-Brochure Automatic alerts

    As an agency we do a bit of video, as I'm sure others do too. Would like to option to have video embedded with the ebrochures or a least a link for prospective buyers to click on when they receive manual or automatic buyer alerts.

    An option to view videos has been available on the new version of the eBrochure since it was released. If you’re still using the old eBrochure, reach out to the support team and they will show you how to change it over.

  10. Adding individual client name in newsletter/brochures

    it will be great if the brochures/newsletter can show each client name individually. i find it is possible in merging emails but not for newsletters and brochures.

  11. Duplicate a page when creating brochures etc

    When creating a brochure it would be helpful to have the ability to duplicate a page within that brochure so time is not wasted having to place items that will need to appear again in the exact same places.

    Hi Doug,
    Most definitely! You can add this in by creating a custom brochure and using our readily available merge tag.
    Contact our friendly support team should you require any help with this.

  16. Bulk email property brochure to (reverse) matched buyers

    We can currently only email a brochure to individual buyers via the buyer's 'match' button. It would be super efficient to be able to send a brochure for that property to all matching buyers via the 'reverse match' feature on the property page, rather than having to go to create a new newsletter/template for every single new listing.

    New Listing -> match -> select relevant buyers (these are all current features)... Just need to add -> 'email brochure' to the mass actions list.

  17. Brochure Options

    With our previous version of Rex we were able to select to show on the brochure 'Full Address', 'Street Name & Suburb' or 'Suburb Only'. This was great as our office uses both 'Street Name & Suburb' and the 'Suburb Only' option.

    Also with our old version we had customised window cards, with these we also have the options of how many photos we could have. Typically we would used 4 photos but on occasion there would only be a front shot so only a 1 photo window card was required. Our customised window card has been created but without…

    All of these requests can actually be completed in Rex. You can create custom brochures to have as many photos as you want. You also have the ability to override the address to either ‘street & suburb’ or ‘suburb’ only by using the marketing overrides available in Rex.

  19. Change "Available" field on rental brochures

    This field is showing as "2014-03-28" on rental brochures. Cant see way of changing it. Just want it changed asap to read "28th Mar 2014" as it appears in Rex.

  20. Property Id field on window cards

    Ability to add the property id as a text preset option making it easier for larger companies to determine which property the window card belongs too. You had this option in the old rex.
