Welcome Rex Users!

Let us know what you really want out of the system you use in your businesses every day!

Please include as much detail as possible about what the feature is and how the feature would make your life easier – this will encourage other rex users to vote for your request rather than creating a duplicate idea. The more votes you get the quicker your idea will come to our attention :)

How it works:

  • You can add as many new ideas here as you like but each new idea that you add will cost you one of your votes.
  • You have ten votes to use. You can distribute these however you like with a maximum of 3 on any single item. You can remove a vote if you change your mind and put it elsewhere.
  • If you have voted on an item that is then implemented, you will get those votes back to use again.

Remember – no request is too small :)

  1. Merge Field - Events - OFI Details - Date and Time

    Dear REX, as discussed 8/5/18, there is no merge field for Open Home details, eg 'date and time'. We email our Vendors from REX (listing>merge>send email>select template), however there is no option to include a merge field for OFI details. If the details (date and time) of future open homes would pull through, it would save time on the hundreds of emails each week (between our 3 offices) by eliminating the data entry double handling. Please make this merge available. Thank you in advance.

    Good news: we have recently added extra merge tags to accommodate this.

  2. Merge Event Details to SMS/Emails

    I would like to create an email/sms template to notify vendors and prospective buyers of OFI times, however the event details are not a merge field. Can you please include event details as a merge item for sms and email templates.

  3. Letter Margins - ability to test margins

    Currently you need to enter the pixels and then go to a letter to 'check' if the amount you put into the margins is correct.

    If we could have a 'test' option from the same page to confirm if the number of pixels entered is correct it would be very helpful.

  4. Merge Fields request for a Merge Letter to complete Sales Advice Notes

    In NSW we send sales advices differently to other states. Can Rex please make Conditions, Chattles and General Notes available for merging? We can then create a Merge Letter to send our sales advices, currently we are using word to create our sales advices as your sales advice document does not have all fields required for NSW properties.

    Good news: we’ve recently added extra merge tags which should let you accommodate this!

    Listing (Contract Details) > Chattels
    Listing (Contract Details) > General notes
    Listing (Contract Details) > Contract Events and their statuses

  5. Financial Fields for creating settlement statement

    We would like the ability to be able to insert;

    • Total amount owing in invoices
    • Calculated balance of Deposit less commission

    To provide an accurate settlement statement to clients within seconds.

    We’re happy to announce this suggestion has been brought to life by our developers and is now live in the system.
    You can locate this letter in the letter merges section of Rex, the letter merge is called ‘Account Sale / Settlement Statement’.

  8. Branding Letters - PDF

    When generating a pdf LETTER for our company branding / logo to appear on the template so we can then email it as a pdf.

  9. Send quick sms/email - freely type text message

    The ability to send a sms/email without a template, just select the contacts and go send sms/email, type and send.

    For example an auction reminder sms, simply select people who have inspected the property and send a quick sms
